Do you need to use special varnishes with the plates?

It is a case of trial and error, some polishes work better than others. The thicker and more opaque the varnish the better they are.

Stargazer chrome works well. But I use anything for a try. Its all trial and error

Went into TKMaxx yesterday and was very impressed by the amount of nail lacquer on sale. Bought a set of four Nails Inc as a gift for someone but could have happily bought a kit for myself. Didn't though - was very restrained mainly because I'm not a huge fan of Nails Inc. They only had one Leighton Denny kit and I didn't like the colours in it. Mind you it looked like it had been there ages as all the colours had separated. There was a glittery set but I can't remember the brand and they were lovely but I even think I have enough of those too. x
