  • Hey everyone well done on the no spend days. :)

Im declaring a no spend day Sun, Mon and Tues for me.

Got softplay and cinema today although ive got a tub of spare change that i mite use for softplay and also it may even be enough to cover the cinema for tonight. I reckon that gives me 4 no spend days in a row yippee if i manage to stick to that today :)

Fingers crossed :) Il update later tonight :) I also forgot ive got to pay £25 tomorrow to get my hair done :( Hate needing highlights although it is alot cheaper than going to the hairdressers.

  • Have spent £1.85 today, Had to, i say HAD to pop to the shops on my lunchbreak for a can of coke (needed the caffeine kick,) and obviously a choccie bar to go with it, and polos.

OMG just realised what i spent on 3 items. Since when did prices go up that much.

Off to update sig, think i will be red this week, especially as i need to go to town tomorrow for valentines card, so cost of that and parking. Will also mooch around shops with my gift cards. So might treat myself without it actually costing me. :j

Sorry to hear the news about your FIL scotmum, let's hoping they get to the bottom of it soon.

LC - I wont say hope you feel better soon as i know depression doesnt work that way, but hope your tablets start to take the edge off it. Keep focussed on the positive when you can. Try and relax away from work and enjoy baking. Losing the money is a bit  but its better to be away from work than for your health to deteriorate.

    Thinking of you both.

Well done on the NSD's jencolescott. I wish i was that disciplined.

    Count down to the weekend.....:D

Thanks for the warm wishes everyone, do appreciate it! Feel a bit silly really but hey ho, it is what it is!

scotmumof3 that sounds likeyour FIL is in the right place, hopefully they find out what the matter is soon and that it's nothing too serious/permanent. Thinking of you x

Had a little spend in Starbucks yesterday on the way back from my workshop, it was cold out and I was tired and hungry (it was about 8pm) and I wanted my tea, so I bought a caramel hot chocolate to see me home... naughty but I took away some calories by having skimmed milk (I hate anything thicker than that anyway, really fussy with milk!).

No plans for today, my goal is to stay in the house all day! Ha! Will try and do some OU work perhaps...we'll see. Hope everyone has a lovely day, and for those of you at work, at least it's nearly Friday!

pp, what's cafe scientifique???! The thought of a scientific cafe is confusing my brain... :p
Welcome MissLJays and well done on the purple week chris81418 :T

    LC

Cafe Scientifique is an organisation that brings science to lay people. There are lots of them over the country in most major cities. They are held once a month and have a guest speaker with questions after. The speaker presents all the information in simple language and you can ask any questions afterwards and it is supposed to be more like a discussion than just Q&A. The topics covered are really varied. The one on Monday was on radiation and its effects related to Fukoshima. It was really interesting and best of all free. If you like science it is worth checking it out.

Scotmumof3 hope the FIL is ok.

LC I hope you are doing ok and that the few days off helps a bit.

First post has been updated. Let me know if I have missed anything.

Spends for me have mainly been on lunches and coffee at work.

Tuesday £4 for coffee and lunch. Wednesday £2 on coffee and £3 on subway salad. No spends today as I was on a course so everything was provided for us.

    Total £11 / £30
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
