Hi everyone
Hope FIL is ok scotmumof3
I've been signed off work for a week starting today, so unlikely to have any other real spends except from groceries. Not planning to go anywhere today, except I need to pick up the sick note from the Dr really so I might see if my mum can get it on the way home from work. Other than that, I've got my workshop tomorrow night but no other plans.
Small bonus is that I'll save quite a lot on petrol this week...

Had a disastrous week last week due to going away for the weekend and not really keeping control of my budget - it's so easy to just let it go tho, isn't it? So this week could you put me down for £50 please as DD needs new shoes and hoping to get some for around £25 - so £25 left for other spends. Thank you and hope everyone has a good week. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

I'm fine guys, just the depression thing means I'm better off not being in work as seem to have worsened a little. They've upped my tablets and I've rejigged my budgets a bit to reflect the 3 days where I'll only get statutory sick pay, annoyingly means I'm losing nearly £200 I think, but I've just about managed to cover it. Well, £50 short, but I have ways and means if needed. Just hoping to save really.
I've actually had a nice day, I made bread which was DELICIOUS with my Honeyed Carrot Soup for tea, which I also made from scratch. I also made blacksaturn's malt loaf, and Weetabix Brownies! I quite like all these recipes because they weren't very hard and I don't think I've c*cked any of them up... (still have the brownie to try yet!)
NSD for challenge although I did have a grocery spend today so not a true NSD! It was mostly baking stuff but a few other bits and some whoopsies in there too!
Hope everyone has had a nice day and evening so far. I'm off to watch 90210 with my piece of brownie!
Sun 5 Feb: True NSD
