Good morning everyone, There is a small amount of snow around this morning but nothing much. I have awoken in a more positive frame of mind. Spoke to dh last night and he is going to speak to his boss today and see if he can get some extra hours this month.

    My list for today:
    :)Catch up with emails done
:)Do some course work (maths) done
:)Look into jobs work in progress
    :)Dust and hoover house done
:)Catch up with the freebies thread done
:)Dailies – clicks, bucks and points done
:)Look into local car boot sales done The first local one is 11/03 so I have a date now to aim for in terms of decluttering
:)Look into what I can grow in the greenhouse and see when it needs planted and a good site for sourcing seeds online work in progress I have now got a list of veg to grow but will need to see what seeds I can get. I have a couple of stores to check for cheap seeds.
:)Surveys – inbox, one poll, lightspeed done
:)Check airer and move to ironing pile done
:)Iron work and school gear for next week (will save electric as will not be ironing a few things every night) done
:)Check for washing and do any full loads done
:)All meals from meal plan (chicken casserole for dinner, I really should look into making this in the slow cooker) done & It went down well with family.
:)Look through recipe books for something to bake whilst oven is on for dinner done, Made wholemeal scones and they have gone down well.
:)Help ds to do his homework done
:)Sort diary for next week and check work accounts to see if I can increase this week’s workload to increase income done I have increased things slightly
:)Sort ebay and paypal so that I can really start listing as major declutter coming up, as got 3 sheds, garage and the house to do work in progress I will need to give ebay a call tomorrow cheeky guy on chat tried to get me to sign as a business seller no way as I would not get free listings
    :)S&S submission done
:)Sort picture to send to overseas aunt (not DFW but needs to be done)
:)Make up dd’s bottles (will save electric and not boiling kettle every few hours to make one bottle) done
:)Have some quality family time done

I think that is everything that I need to get done today, the list is a bit long for a Sunday but on a mission after the bank situation yesterday.

I am very happy with the progress that I have made today as I have completed almost everything that was on my list and I have managed to have a NSD whilst giving my family a meal that they were all happy.
    Aiming to get Debt Free.

    Good Morning all

Looking gorgeous here, quite a bit of snow but beautiful clear skies, feel so much brighter today and more motivated. We were all awake very early this morning (all full of cold too) and had cups of tea in bed followed by fashion show - little one and other half went through their wardrobes and had a good sort out - wardrobes can now breathe :rotfl:

Today's little list (very repititive but helping at the moment)

    Check Banks - Done
    Check Swapits - Done
Keep up to date with surveys - Done
Keep on top of emails - Done
Update food tracker (22lb off up to now since Sept) - in progress
Read ("The Model Wife") - in progress
    Quick tidy round - Done
Lots of filing/shredding (mums & mine) - Done
    20 mins on Yantra mat
Plan meals around OH's new shifts which start NEXT WEEK (found out yesterday!!)
    Declutter - WIP

Hope you all have a great weekend, catch you all later, love you all

Oh ixia ... Re getting taxi we went to NY and got bus , cheapest way and it is regular service all day and night. Friends of ours did taxi and it failed to arrive for return trip! BA booking was reliable ( other friends did it) but cost a fortune! Getting a taxi to take you from city to airport is impossible due to cost

thanks we were just going to get taxi/transfer because with there being 5 of us I don't think there is much difference in the price. I would get bus if it was just me and OH don't fancy it with 5 lots of luggage either. I thought it was a flat fare from the airport to Manhattan I'm sure I read it somewhere, better go and check that.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi

Just lost the last post :-(

A LSD day as although we had some parking that's it. OH saved some parking when ferrying kids about by doing the first trip on the bikes instead. We were then expecting to take ILs out for a cheap pizza but given weather forecast they have gone early ( it was lovely to see them) but on an MSE front it will be more LOs this eve...yippee

OH is now making toffee popcorn before we sit down to relax and watch a movie...will be a DVD we already have so a good Sunday MSE wise for us!

Weather is cold but so bright. 74p on the panels so I will have that!!:T

  • Very unproductive weekend, spent time in snow, spent a bit yesterday on some medicine as not been feeling 100%, came to the conclusion that OH spends far too much and actually I am more money saving now than he is probably because my money has to last me. Anyway I am rambling, should spend more time doing things I think to try and make up for the unproductiveness that my weekend has been!

Glad to see you have all been busy! Such a inspiration! Well new week as of tomorrow xx
