Evening all!
I'm totally shattered as was up before 7am and at my friend's house by 9am to help her move house. It was absolutely baltic, but luckily we got everyhting moved just before the snow started! The did a few messages and have been under a blanket on the sofa since 4pm...only just starting to warm up now
Anyway, today I have:
- had free lunch courtesy of friend treating us all to pizza as a thank you for the labour we supplied in the move :T
- had a dry trim at the hairdressers instead of a cut and blow wave (not actually my choice as I landed there at 3.40pm and they were closing so it's all they had time for, but it still saved me about a fiver)
- used LV's at morrisons from pinecone, to get two packs of bacon which were half price :money:
- bought eggs at the farm shop for £1.40 a dozen for large :money:
- superpoints, swaggers, bingo, onepoll and other carp
- drying clothes on airer
was supposed to be having movie night with DS but he doesn't fancy anything we have and I'm too cold to go to blockbusters so we're watching some footie game or other (snore) but at least he's down here with me and not upstairs on his xbox!GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Hi all, I don't normally post here but I am feeling good about the dfw things I've done today so thought I'd share:
Checked bank and worked out how much surplus I'll have when all DD's and SO's have been paid - paid the surplus off my CC with highest APR (£38.14). Yay!
Had to venture out to the shop - it's blowing a blizzard out there! When's the rain coming? Anyway, bought 6 eggs for 25p - guess who's having scrambled egg fo tea! OMG! I haven't had my tea yet! I've been grazing on "Fruit n Fibre" cereal which is my substitute for crisps!
Also, managed to fix my pc. Well, not sure if I actually fixed it but it wasn't working and now it is. Saved a journey into town for a new SATA lead anyway.
I was going to pump up my car tyre as its flat but it started snowing so that will have to wait till tomorrow (I hope it rains and the snow disappears otherwise I'll have to look a plonker doing it in the snow!). I use a foot pump hence saving 10p at the garage <--- How MSE is that?!!

Well today should be similar to yesterday. Didn't leave the house, watched the snow falling out of the window as I decorated. Although the NSD didn't happen, am gonna run out of sanding belts so bought some off Ebay, about a third of the price of B and Q even with the postage.
More painting to do today, want that room finished and floor stained.
Meals from stores (might have to get OH to get something for tea).
Check for surveys.
Email friend in Holland.
Stay warm and safe everyone.0 -

Oh ixia ... Re getting taxi we went to NY and got bus , cheapest way and it is regular service all day and night. Friends of ours did taxi and it failed to arrive for return trip! BA booking was reliable ( other friends did it) but cost a fortune! Getting a taxi to take you from city to airport is impossible due to costStart info Dec11
