So that would mean two other people who otherwise would have got those jobs without all the squandering of taxpayers' money gobbled up by these WP 'training' company scammers.
In this case no. Neither role existed prior to the WP companies involvement. They managed to put the candidates to people who hadn't got a formal role - and weren't minded to advertise one either - and the result was great for these people. The friends in question weren't minded to try to create those opportunities themselves and did need the assistance.
I understand you don't like the program - I have my own reservations from some of the other things I've heard about it on here and elsewhere. However it doesn't fail everybody.0 -

So, these mystery employers didn't have a need for staff but decided to employ someone as they'd been asked nicely. They must be saints. And the gods rewarded them by showing that they did need staff after all. Perhaps they're stupid saints.
Just several million more miracles required and we could have full employment again. Like we used to before the misruling class set out to wreck the economy.

It's nothing but the latest incarnation of the ongoing efforts of civil servants and politicians to evade their guilt by blaming the victims of their disastrous and self-serving policies. - A propaganda tool that has some success with the weak minded. On the other hand it creates an ever wider pool of people increasingly inclined to enjoy themselves when the country finishes falling to pieces.
it doesn't fail everybody.
I take it that professing wasn't in statistics or probability either.0 -

Perhaps you could enlighten us as to where all of these furnished flats can be rented for £52 per week?
It would be very helpful to know as I am currently trapped living in a shared house which is in a terrible state of repair, has no kitchen facilities to speak of and is full of people who leave uncapped druggy needles laying around on the stairs.0 -

Sorry, £52 per week is how much housing benefit I am entitled to. I should have made it clearer.0
