Why dont you just follow the guidance given on your other thread and take some sandwiches and a flask with you!

Why are you asking the same question again on a new thread.

Youve had umpteen replies on your other thread which answers this question.

  • i read on the atos website that no matter where in the UK your tribunal is they will pay for a 5 course meal at the ritz in london, good old atos i reckon !
  • Thanks for the tip Woodbine - as I live in Bognor would they arrange free delivery or would that be taking the mick (I would be happy to heat it up at my expense), then again if I took a picture of my electric meter before and after do you reckon I could claim it back?? :rotfl:

You will have to admit that the OP is a tryer - he's trying my patience!!

On the other hand he could always refuse to go the Tribunal and tell them he would have got hungry so stayed at home to make sure he was fed.

But when you go to a tribunal, don't they send a limo for you, with a scrumptious hamper next to the champers in the back?
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Would it be reasonable to claim £4.75 to buy a meal for being away from home for more than 5 hours?
  • Please keep your receipt and give it a go if you are genuinely struggling moneywise and feel entitled...... you never know mate. Best of luck and let us know how the tribunal goes:)

5 hours isn't really that long if you eat before you leave. Take some soup in a flask or make a sandwich to take. Don't see why you would be needing to buy food while you were out.
