honestly, i have NEVER seen a cheap friday or saturday, i'd grab what you can for a decent price now or it might be gone

i do these travelodge deals 3-4 times a year for the last several years and usually not even the remote locations offer the cheap rooms on friday or saturday, if you've never seen your location for less than £20 i think your chances of a cheap room on a weekend is about as much as an ice cube in erm.... ;)

I have booked 3 £10 rooms on a Saturday, its only in Leicester but will do for a night out for us all, different scenery and all that!! The state we will be coming back in it doesn't matter what the room is like either! ;) They also had some £10 rooms available on a Saturday in Preston as well.
  • Managed to get 2 nights in Birmingham @ £10 each x1 night in Dunfermline @£10 x1 night in Aberdeen @£10 x1 night in Inverness @£10 x1 night in Glasgow @£10 and x1 night in leeds £10 thats 7 nights all for £70 at end of july including a weekend well chuffed its alot of travelling and a bit of a headache to work out but get to see alot of sites like the cadbury factory in Birmingham and the Loch ness monster in inverness LOL!!
Should also point out thats all in one hit one night after the other.
All in peak season £70 for a weeks accommodation were can you get that thanks again !!

I had it at London Docklands and it was awful. Everything was overcooked, stuff was running out and not being replenished, and the whole restaurant was dirty and neglected. As for the toilets attached to the restaurant....well I won't elaborate or you'll never want breakfast again. :(

Hope so because ive booked 3 night all with breakfast the next morning, I was impressed by the kids eat free deal so for 6 of us breakfast only comes to£13.50 per morning and its all you can eat.

I managed to get my Friday for £10 but struggling to get a Wednesday lol!

well done you, i've honestly never seen a cheap friday, well now i can live in hope :p
  • In the new travelodge in Chelmsford there is a self service breakfast, with cereal, yogurt, croissants and a toaster. If the lodge is in a town I think I would rather walk in to bhs or even Wetherspoons and get a cooked one, but it is just about ok if desperate.

wow well done to you! i'd be thrilled to get a £10 in edinburgh on a saturday but since we're quite flexible with our travels most of the time i normally go on sundays instead when i never have any bother getting the cheapest rooms, good to know they ARE available in some places on saturdays too!

having seen others eating the breakfasts i've never bothered, generally we find a grocery store nearby and just buy some stuff for the morning before we head back to the room for the evening, it's cheaper and from what i've seen being served, tastier!

now i HAVE eaten in the ones with cafes before in the evening and the food was decent and not too badly priced either, but for me, i know i can get a cheap and tasty meal from the supermarket and not be held to their time table for when to eat breakfast either
