Arghhh I booked slough so I can go to legoland. Ive booked the monday (bank holiday) to stay over and go legoland on the tuesday morning....what I didnt realise at the time was the Tuesday is the queens diamond jubilee. Do you think that will mean legoland are closed or anything. I'm using tickets I was granted from merlins magic wand so not sure if I can use them if its a special events day....i'm such a wally!

If Yarmouth "too busy" and commercialised for you when you get there travel down the road about 5 miles to the lovely seaside town of Gorleston a much much nicer beach a lovely promenade and very safe for children often walk along the promenade with our two - a lot quieter than yarmouth:o

    Question:
If I book a room on my payment card, can I 'give it' to someone else (like family), and are they able to check in without my payment card (but with a printed confirmation etc.) - I'm happy to pay up front.

    Many thanks.

Last year, I booked Ramsgate in my name for 2 nights. Nearer the time I couldn't go so I gave the room to my sister and her B/F. I rang the hotel direrct and they had no problem with a change of occupier.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

  • Hi,
Managed to get Slough for 9th June, family room £10. Ds05 loves LEGO.
Also got Blackpool on 6th June, but went for Central so only double room!!! Did not realise the don't do family rooms till I got confirmation, so had to book another room, just to get us all in!!!
I am such a wally, teach me to check next time!!!
Two half term breaks done for £30, not too bad!!!
Thanks OP, and all who post!!!
