Islandmaid... my DD's were awful teens, attitudes bigger than DS's appetite
Welcome to Lurkers, new posters & returners x
Didn't have chinese chicken in the end 'cos someone had drunk the wine  so made a fish pie with smoked mackeral, coley, a random salmon cutlet & a handful of prawns + 1/2 tub of philly (co-op version) chucked in the sauce. I thought it was lovely but according to DS & DP it had too much fish in it :rotfl::rotfl:Imagine  Told them they can cook tomorrow.

Evening everyone
Its been so bloomin cold today, have worn my thermals all day to keep me warm. Went out this morning for coffee with a friend. then did weekly shop and browsed the cs. bought an embroidery hoop for £2, but resisted anything else.
walked dog in woods this afternoon, it was lovely. Then went for a cheeky drink with dh. However I came home and he stayed chatting to some of the blokes. He came home 2 hours later and couldnt understand why I was upset with him. He said he was just finishing his drink.
Dinner tonigt was Thai chicken curry and rice, it was lovely.
Miffy ((hugs)) hope the funeral went as well as it could.
Lou - well done on the job, your post is much brighter today.
JackieG - Hope you are ok
Molly - well done on catching the lab, the owner must have been so relieved.
Sorry If i have missed anyone, brain not working tonight. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care0 -

I lived in Gosport for a few years and went to Stokes Bay nearly every day, especially during the school holidays! Mrsd - would love to know what it's like now, my dear Dad died 6 years ago so haven't been since and have no reason to go back.
Very late for me, busy at school, hospice and then had to go shopping - DD was complaining that there was 'a distinct lack of fresh food in this house'! Loads in the freezer but that's about it!
Washing up to date and house not too bad.
Miffy, hope today has been bearable, look after yourself. Take care. XX0
