a TA: avon tea tree peel off mask- My mum's had this for who knows how long:eek: and its pretty much useless. Life's too short to mess around with sticky masks that do as much good as putting pva glue on your face would.

sounds like you had a good day :)VALM

on the subject of beauty boxes, I think they're a nice idea and I would like to try one especially the makeup ones but at £13 a month with delivery, I can quickly see the cost adding up and its not something I can afford. For less than 2 months beauty box subscriptions I've treated myself to 2 pieces of high end makeup which I will enjoy using more than 5 or so samples :D I'm also worried that if I fall in love with a product I can't afford to repurchase:rotfl:

rosemary- My friends went to see woman in black but I cancelled at the last minute when I found out what it was actually about:rotfl:
    Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:13
  • I have a UU to declare since last week but haven't had time to login into MSE

Lush helping hands cream - It was alright as a handcream for night but is quite greasy for daytime so WNBA. Though I have another one in the stash which i have started with

Just a daft question here, I was wondering when Latest in Beauty send out their boxes, just really excited to get my first items and a bit impatient.

There has been a lot mentioned about Beauty Boxes, I haven't had my first one yet, but for me I think they will work better. I'll get my fix for £10 a month rather than trawling around boots or Superdrug and spending a lot more. I think it will help as, 1 - I may get put off buying products that would be great for me due to price, 2 - Hopefully it will stop me buying products just cause the look pretty (and gerenally end up being no good for me skin), 3 - Buying too much, too big a size etc due to offers, 4 - Hopefully help me find the perfect products for me.

I joined the thread not just due to buying (too much and things I don't need), but finding it difficult to actually use stuff up. I some how have many multiple items open and sometimes can't be bothered to use them. e.g. its sometimes easier to go to bed without moisturising, because your so tired.

I have been remembering to use body lotion every night, moisturing face twice a day etc since joining the trial and you can really see the difference. I have stopped myself opening anything new until things that are already open have been UU, and the products are really starting to go down now, have a few splutterers, but they are hanging on in there at the moment, Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have a few more UU's.

got 5 pages  to catch up on, trying hard to resist the BS sale, no UUs or INs though:D
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

it was about a week from ordering to receiving my last LIB one and i got one for my mum that was the same. it took a day or two to get a dispatch email then another couple of days in the post.

Thats the one, I just forgot it was 3 and added two, so my own fault! I emailed them to tell them and what I'd like the third sample to be so maybe they'll be nice and add it in for me? :o

I'm getting annoyed with JolieBox, I think I'd rather cancel than be bothering with this every month. They were swearing delivery for valentises week but that doesn't look to be happening.

You would think they'd have it out nice and early given all the time and unhappy customers they've had

This months box better be out of this world!

they do this every single month and every month they get abuse on Facebook over it, i bet thats why they stopped allowing customers to post because it was full of complaints asking where the box was and that nobody was replying to emails. i bet it won't be long until they disable all comments on there wall.

this month is worse than usual because they had a month and a half to sort it and still couldn't do it and they swore blind we'd have it this week and now its def going to be next week. on the plus side, if it is sent tomorrow, for once it will be within their "10th - 20th" quote so the extra month has got it 4 whole days earlier than usual!

  • I need to catch up with the thread (already!) but just wanted to say a late

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

to Valm. It sounds like you had a really lovely day and :jfor the gorgeous Elemis treats & OPI nail varnishes & other gifts :D

    Also,

    :jCONGRATULATIONS!:j

to EmsJune on passing your driving test. No easy feat - well done!
  • I actually like to try different products so sample sizes are great for me and I find that I am less tempted to have lots of things on the go as I use a mix of full and trial size samples. For eg - face masks, I always use a moisturising one mid week and a cleansing one at the weekend. At the moment my moisturising one is 15ml size whilst the deep cleansing one is 75ml. That way I have a fighting chance of getting UUs on a fairly regular basis.

I'm the same! I love trying samples. I do wonder if still having the beauty boxes is cheating a bit but it keeps my curiousity in check and satisfies my 'need' for newness. :rotfl:

Nothing makes me happier than finding a HG product but it's so difficult (and the reason why I have so many half used things to use up ).

Hello lovelies. A local telephone engineer just came up connect our upstairs extension (as it's a new-build property and the extension wasn't connected to the master socket) so now our router and everything is upstairs. Yaaaaaay! So, no more trying not to trip over the wire at the bottom of the stairs! It was only £40. BT wanted £200 to do it! SUCK ON THAT BT!

    Anyway, three UUs. :D

Schwarzkopf XXL Live Foam in Violet Berry Burst - WIBA? - Yes! I love the colour. It's a sort of blacky red with a hint of purple. Love it! The dye doesn't have a horrible smell either. It smells like strawberry. My bath did look like I had been murdered in my bath when I washed it out though.:rotfl:

Superdrug Dry Shampoo in Away with the Fairies - WIBA? - Yes! I love it so much. The smell is gorgeous! I'd love to get a perfume that smells like it. :D

Loreal Elvive Colour Protect Protecting Masque - I can't remember if I've already posted this UU. WIBA? - Yes. I love the smell and the pot lasts for ages. It left my hair feeling very soft and really prolonged my colour.

I'm sure you'll get loads of good suggestions. :) I have the same skin type as you and I really like Organic Surge Pure Extracts Refreshing Facial Toner (what a long product name!) It's very gentle & smells lovely. It looks like Asda have it on offer for £3.74. It's usually around £5 but often on offer.

I also make my own toner - a mixture of rosewater, a little witchhazel (to help with oiliness) and glycerine (to moisturise). I'm also using up a Sanctuary one (surprisingly gentle) and Neal's Yard Lavender (quite expensive & nothing special)...
