Hi ladies. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Have had a hectic few days. Last Saturday went to Boots for my Clinique consultation and came away with a new lipstick (I only own 2) and gel eyeliner in smoky grey. I have some other Smashbox gel eyeliners (not grey coloured) and I'd lost the brush for them so I thought by getting this one I would get a brush and be able to use my old ones again.

MrM bought me these items so I didn't use up my Beauty Fund money (although this went on other things as it was close to pay day and the cash was needed for karate lessons!) or my Advantage points. I also got a free eye shadow trio in neutral shades. The makeover was nice too.

MrM then surprised me as he'd booked us into a hotel overnight next to the Trafford Centre so we could go out, eat and both of us drink and be merry. Watched The Woman in Black though don't ask me what happened as I'd had 2 glasses of wine and a champagne cocktail by then!

Birthday Ins:-

Elemis kit containing PCMC, Papaya Enzyme Peel, Frangipani shower cream, Bliss Capsules and Frangipani oil
L'occitane Lavender hand cream
3 x OPI colours: Vampsterdam (wearing this now), Wooden Shoe Like to Know and Did you Ear about Van Gogh
A Dove set with 2 x body washes and a shower puff.

Got some vouchers as well for John Lewis so have these earmarked for some beauty goodies when I need them.

2 x UUs this week:-

L'Occitane Lavender foot cream. WNBA. Have one last foot cream on the go which is an Avon one and I've now cut the tube open so won't be long before I have none of these as stashed items.

Huge bottle of Tresemme conditioner. WNBA. It made my scalp itch sometimes. Am on my last stashed bottle of hair conditioner as well - an Ojon one which has quite a bit in it so maybe can make it through this month without buying a new one?

Another GA - gave Urban Decay primer potion to a friend. This is my 2nd one, but I GA as I have other primers to use.

Phew, finally caught up and up-to-date with the new thread!!

A couple more UU to declare:

Lush Angel Delight soap, love the smell, colour and glitter of this but poor value, this barely lasted a week, although I do know that my OH was pinching it too at least once or twice - pretty sure its not available all year round anyway and is a Christmas special - lovely but not terribly practical

More Osiris Avise face wipes, this time the deep cleansing variety - like these, they do the job and leave my face feeling clean without making my skin feel tight - moved onto the exfoliating kind now - You can get these for something like 99p for a three pack of 20 which I think is a mega bargain as they're nicer than the price tag would suggest.

And a GA:
Not entirely sure whether I've counted this yet or not in January? May well have done! Anyway, Next Creme Brulee Body Souffle, I really tried to UU but its vile, saccharin sweet, it has the smell and consistency of toffee flavoured yoghurt and it doesn't even seem to moisturise! Of course can't rule out the possibility that its gone off as is of suspect vintage but hey Mum's got it to car boot now! :rotfl:

Now that I've clawed my way back will definitely try and keep on top of things and not have to catch up 28 pages in two sittings :eek:

Hi Everyone

Getting a bit frustrated with a lack of UUs, does anyone else find cleanser seems to last forever? From a moneysaving point of view I suppose that is a good thing really but its annoying when you want to move on and try something else.

Got some INs, the LIB sample of Estee Lauder BB creme and hotel freebies from the weekend, mineral bath, shampoo and body lotion - luckily all quite small, might save them for a work trip next week and cross fingers I will get some more hotel freebies.

Oh how lovely - which one do you go to? Henlow, Tring or the one in Leicestershire? I have been to the one in Henlow but my friend and I now make an annual pilgrimage to Ragdale Hall. We have a day there every June - it is fab - Elemis facials to die for...Can't justify an overnight stay because of my daughters but when they get a bit older I might be able to.

Clinique - raspberry glace lipstick - GA to add to my sisters lippie 'supply'

Boots - foot refresher spray - WNBA -not too keen on the smell of this one!
