i *may* have ordered another LIB refresh and recover. just so you all knowthe offers changed so you get to add 3 samples now rather than two for the same price
got same box as before but with an extra hand cream. the balance me lip balm in it is full size and worth £8 on its own.
I'm waiting for Jolie Box to, wish they'd hurry up a bit! Is it usually late? This is my first month!!
I like the look of the LIB Refresh and Recover boxCan I ask which samples you ordered?? I'm struggling to choose
Thankyou0 -
Well I was going to order my sisters 3 month subscription to she said beauty at lunch time today (excellent price at under £30), but the companies Internet blocker has decided to block it. Not sure why? its blocks alsorts Facebook, Snapfish, etc etc
on a different note was annoyed today to get a follow up letter about a mag called Me.I was called last week and stupidly agreed to a £1 trial copy with a free £100 spa day(I know I did ask what the catch was too:rotfl:)the woman said no catch if you like it then pay for a year you keep the spa coupon anyway.Well the " coupon" has not mention of the spas you can use,the mag comes in up to 10 days BUT in 14 days from the phone call they will take £65 off you for the year:eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad: need less to say I rang up and cancelled pretty quick and said how annoyed I was that no mention of taking any extra off in the phone call.It is welsh company so do be warned.I told the man I may want to take it out(no way!) but I want to see a copy 1st,thought they were very underhand:mad:0 -

just been to see the woman in black......OMG vey scary lots of girls were screaming:eek::eek::eek:sadly I could not pretend to be scard and hold onto DH as it was so full we had to sit apart:(:(:(

Bees, I could almost forgive you for being able to sting! :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:
and put me on the naughty step because I clean forgot to wish VALM a happy birthday yesterday
I'll take a photo of the flake hamper when it arrives - I was talking to my BFF yesterday and he reckons that it'll come in a big wicker hamper with lots of filling and they'll value that at £150 so they'll be less chocolate than expected - cynic (but he may be right :rotfl:)
I honestly don't get these beauty boxes - which is a good thing right??
I've decided I'm not a fan of sample/mini sizes as they just take up room and there's not enough to get a real feel for the product. I won't complain about free ones (especially at the moment as I'm using up all my face cream/serum ones so I don't have to buy anything yet) but I'm not going to buy any ever again! And now there are so many nice decanting sets about I can take my favourite products with me wherever I go
:cool:0 -
I love the idea of Latest In Beauty as I'm a bit picky for most beauty boxes it seems, but I've yet to get a box! Damn you evilsquid, I have been tipped over the edge into ordering one! Feel Unique have cancelled their boxes(which I actually really liked) so that is one gone and will be cancelling Glossy Box after this month so it's okay. I quite like Amarya so far as they don't put in much coloured make up like Glossy and Jolie do.
I have a few UUs:
Body Shop vitamin e cleanser- WNBA
Clarisonic cleanser orange tube- WNBA too expensive
Alpha-H balancing cleanser- WBA
And some ebay sales:
MAC Wonder Woman lipstick £28 lipglass £16 :j both to the US
NIP+FAB Ab Fix £10.50 chuffed as got this, bust and leg for £12 in a set
I spent my £50 Escentual voucher +another £10ish yesterday on some A-derma cleansers, La Roche Posay scrub and 3 litres of Bed Head shampoo and conditioner :rotfl: It was £10 for the big pump bottles and there wasn't much else on the site I wanted so why not stock up on stuff I know I love and am out of? I do have quite a bit of shampoo already, but half of it is stuff that I don't like much- tresemme, herbal essences and l'oreal paris. I've been using the herbal essences as shower and shave gel as it smells really nice.
May also have bought a GHD air, I'm more into blow drying than straightening. Now I can leave my old hairdryer (and a bunch of my products) at OH's.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
hmmm totally want to order some beauty boxes...must resist do not need, must resist do not need
use up no52.bed head tigi-this leaked all over one of my stash bags.on the plus side it does smell rather nice and i do have another 1 in the stash.
53.dried out johnson baby wipes- might buy again as it is always handy to have.
54.another sample sanex shower gel-always have bottles of this in the house as great for sensative skin
55.la source sample sized conditoner- i like this enough but think it is overpriced. cant remember what hotel does them but if i come across again will stock up.
Think i will treat myself when i get to 75 items on the use up front and then 100? not sure what i would treat myself to- i have a hoarding problem-clothes, shoes, books, bags lol dont need anything£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
20,000 step a day challenge0 -
I like the latest in beauty boxes as a/ you can buy just the ones you want and b/ thye accept paypal so I treat myself with the balance in there that I earned from doing surveys so am not really spending any money:):):)0

i have some UU:
Liz Earle orange flower shower gel WNBA - i dont really like the scent.
Good things body scrub - WBA but the whole range has disappeared from my boots
Vera Wang lovestruck body lotion WNBA - the packaging disintegrated when it was in the bathroom and its far too expensive for what it is.
Suki intensive nourishing face mask WNBA - i like this but its super expensive. i got mine in TKMaxx for £26 but i think its like £50 normally. not worth that amount for 30ml of a bog standard mask.
Dollypop - joliebox is always late. the "send on the 10th-20th" each month has turned into it goes out on the 20th at the earliest no matter what they say during the month. the last box they promised us all would go out on a fri i think it was and then eventually went out on the monday and i got mine the mon after!
i got the balance me lip balm (its full size worth £8), the balance me shower gel and the madara hand cream.
the peppermint tea in it is really nice! the figs and rouge balm is full size too and I'm thinking of buying the full size lavera hand cream when my sample runs out and my half used clarins is gone
adelight - sorry! whats the GHD air like? i was eyeing it up for maybe when i get back to Slimming World target or finally get my stash under control.0 -
oooooops, just started to use a sample of an unknown cream from a beauty box thinking it was skin cream.....thought it felt a bit odd so put my glasses on to read it.......lip balm:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...could have been pile cream that would have been bad!!!(actually isn't that good for spots????)0
