I always find that Costa/Starbucks is a good place to get a page from the Mail on Sunday without the embarrassment of having to buy the evil rag.
Either that or buy a !!!!!! magazine and hide the Mail or Sun in the middle. Far less embarrassing.0 -

If you haven't been yet don't leave til the end of the credits0 -
Another Saving Mr Banks really? There is going to be no one left to watch it when it comes out in cinemas.0

I went to a virgin media screening of snow white and the huntsman a while back and they had a security guard making sure people had turned their phones off, I guess so you couldn't film it. Only one I've been to where they have done that.0 -

It depends on the film, it depends on how early the film is showing too. Often Disney employ external security but not for all their films.
Saving Mr Banks has had many previews and even at the same cinema, there hasn't always been security.
They don't do it often but sometimes they actually take your phone from you and issue a cloakroom ticket and I've even been through body scanners so they can ensure you aren't trying to smuggle a phone in0 -
Can't remember what film it was now as it was a couple of years ago but every quarter of an hour one of the cinema staff would walk to the corner of the auditorium below the screen and scan the room with a night-vision camera to check on bootleggers. Mildly distracting, to say the least. The comment above about it depending on how advanced the freeview is was spot on - security will always be harder if it's not out in America.
What made me chuckle at SMrB was being told to turn my phone off, yet I walked in with my tablet in plain view...0
