A group of 4 of us went to see this at Birmingham Odeon yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a watch especially if you are Disney fans as well Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson fans.

What really gets me is that this venue had tickets as 'Not Available' yesterday on SFF, yet the screening was at most 60%full!!

When I can’t even get 1 ticket for a screening it’s annoying to think that the screening will not be full to capacity and some people are missing out! :(

Just because there are empty seats doesn't mean the room wasn't at capacity. An auditorium might have 150 seats but only 100 tickets might have been allocated that night. However, we all know there will be no shows too. I do think in the case of SMB, it has been a case of overkill and people might have not bothered turning up because there have been so many codes.
  • MANDELLA -Long Road to Freedom tonight in Leeds was excellent! Idris Elba was fantastic as Nelson Mandella, and my 13yr old and 8yr old (currently researching NM in school) thoroughly enjoyed it too! Highly recommend it if you have the opportunity. The first screening I have EVER been too, where not one person got up to use the toilet / go for drinks / anything else! 2hr + Film too!

I did feel it skirted over some issues rather quickly but then again, the man has done so much a film twice the length wouldn't do him justice.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I would just urge everyone to put that tunnel visioned deluded $%^& on their ignore list so they don't get bugged by his/her pointless points on the codes only board

And as ever I'll continue to report their behaviour to the forum team until something is done about it

And then you will miss codes. :rotfl::rotfl:

If you bothered to correctly state where you took the codes from, I wouldn't have to post the additional information. :p

How do you know geordie ben got a direct email this afternoon?

I'd be surprised as the North East is not listed on the code he posted.

BTW you posted a duplicate of something that Ben already posted, can you delete it please?

Ballet superstar Carlos Acosta makes his feature film debut in a sparkling culture clash comedy. Snatching her late father's ashes, earnest Scottish left-wing activist Rosa (Eva Birthistle) hatches a plan to scatter them in Cuba. That's where her socialist parents spent much of their time back in the seventies. Rosa's equally strong-willed yet materialistic and fashion obsessed sister Ailie (Charity Wakefield) tags along, mainly because she fancies a holiday in the sun. It proves to be an eventful experience for these chalk and cheese siblings, who promptly lose the ashes in Havana! As their crazy adventure continues, Rosa is romanced by hunky dance teacher Tomas (Carlos Acosta). Along the way, the sisters also make some surprising discoveries about their family history. This breezy fish out of water comedy offers charismatic Cuban ballet star Carlos Acosta his first feature-length acting role. He's cast opposite Eva Birthistle, BAFTA-nominated star of Ken Loach's 'Ae Fond Kiss'.

Ginsberg. Kerouac. Burroughs. They and their compatriots in the Beat Generation literally invented “cool.” But before they were icons? They were kids. How these three young men came together – and the brutal murder that fractured their early fellowship – is the subject of KILL YOUR DARLINGS, the vivid and passionate true story of friendship, obsession and murder that led to the birth of an entire generation.

Who honestly cares where the information came from or who posted it first? Is this a competition to see who can post the most free screenings first or somewhere to be helpful to others?

If anyone is going to be thanked how about Sky, Virgin, SFF or whoever else put on the screening like the SFF sponsor?

No-one else that subscribes appreciates the obnoxious 'Thanks to FMUK' spamming, so next time time you feel frustrated go and shout into a pillow or something instead of bothering the rest of us.
