My count too. I can forgive the newbie who knows no better but others should know comments go on here.

The dilemma is, should Invited Guest codes go on Codes only or not?
They always attract comments but if posted on here, some people might miss out.

    My thoughts exactly.

It is a tough one with invited guests only. Personally I agree that if they go on here some people will miss them so better off on the codes thread and just hope and prey that people will get used to not posting afterwards that its for invited guests only.

I think the OP needs to put invited guests only on there post if they know that its for invited guests only.

I did ask someone on the theatre thread about that as I understood, the email sent had wording that implied the code was for invited guests but that person said there wasn't. So possibly people won't know until other non invited guests tell them so.

Thanks to whoever contacted a BG to get rid of the chat. A shame the latest (experienced) member decided to chat in the wrong thread. :(

So sorry - looks like I was at fault. I am ashamed.
    ;)
However, I did not want anyone to go through the same process as me, which was a complete waste of time for me, just to find out that the tickets' code was for invited guests only. It does seem a nonsense to post such a code only for people to find out it's invalid.

If you read this thread, your post was the third that Sarah had to delete.

Some people can't access their email and may be on the Invited Guest list, so the codes being posted can help some but I understand your frustration at trying to book and not being able to.

Yes it is frustrating, and what is the point on posting about on here, when people who only access the codes only thread will not see it?

I think that the original poster is at fault; no doubt others will fall into the trap as there is no warning. The fact that I was the third seems to suggest that there may be more once people arrive home from work...

Please scroll back through this thread as I have already stated why the codes are handy for people to post them on Codes only and why the OP might not be aware they are not for all to obtain tickets from.

And to add, that even Invited Guests will receive their emails at staggered intervals. Some might see the code on internet sites like here before they even receive their email and before tickets are gone.

I think you're overreacting a little bit on the frustration front. I clicked on the link too, chose my cinema and signed in and was met with the 'Invited guests only' message. Said, "oh well" and closed the page. Took all of 30 seconds.

If I had know it was invited guests only I wouldn't have bothered, but I think I can live with that wasted 30 seconds of my time over the numerous times I'd have to log in to see what I thought were codes, that turned out to be people having a chat about it being invited guests only.

    I agree.
I've been after Saving Mr Banks tickets for weeks and was left rather miffed to find when my home town cinema finally appeared it was for invited guests only:mad:. So I took direct action... PM me if you want to know more.
