Not sure if this is the right place, but I need help picking a laptop

I currently have a Dell Inspiron 1520, I've had it for two years. The battery is knackered, the power cable just popped out and the battery lasted 3 seconds, no joke. Plus it runs really slowly despite having had many a clearout and MOT from laptop specialists. Time for a new one!

I was leaning towards getting an ipad2, but I don't travel enough to warrant paying for it's size and transportability. Plus I want a CD/DVD drive, and not interested in a tablet

Here's what I'm looking for:
  • As small as possible whilst still having a CD/DVD drive
  • Preferably not another Dell, as I'm not a huge fan
  • A large hard drive or capacity for plenty memory as I want to be able to back up all my photos, videos, music and DVDs
  • DVD RW drive (forgot to say that)
  • A camera
  • Wireless, naturally so I can connect to my home hub

My budget is under £400

Hope you can help!!
