I'm an old fuddy duddy so I can't help but be put off by the teens appearing on youtube to unpack or demonstrate their Mansion TV. I would much prefer someone who looks like my Dad - except he's dead so maybe not. At first I was slightly paranoid about why anyone would film themselves unpacking something, but I've since seen similar vids on other products so it seems to be a known phenomenon!
Anyhow I have a couple of bags of compost sitting in the car right now plus a supermarket shop. I clearly need to 'get with the program' so should I film myself lugging it all in, perhaps even breaking open and running my fingers through the compost?
Those of a fragile disposition look away now ;)

Pineapple - thanks your post made me smile!

I've never quite understood the unboxing thing on Youtube either....so I too will also get with the programme and video myself unwrapping and trying on my new socks.

We could take this genre to a whole new level
I'm thinking my next production might be me taking delivery of a great tub of caustic stuff and applying to the old lead painted beams dressed in blue Oxfam M&S pyjamas, goggles, pink shower hat and big red plastic gloves (no really..). Could go viral! It goes without saying that my old Sharp CRT will be playing in the background. Everyone will want one! :T

I bought a 19 in tv from Mansion a couple of months ago and, although the delivery was not next day, it did come earlier than the advised 7-10 working days. It has been fine and does everything it says it should, including pausing tv etc. I therefore decided to order one of their 32 in ones on 15 April. They rang me the next day to say that again they were out of stock and delivery would be 7-10 working days. Since then nothing. I have tried all the numbers I have and emailed them to no avail. I am assuming they have gone out of business with all our money. The voicemail box is full now so won't take any more calls.

This outfit sounds like another 'Camerabox.co.uk' type company that got closed down last year, IIRC - a small percentage of customers receive their orders after some delays, but the rest get nothing, and struggle even to get a refund.
