Mansion 23" led tv

Hi
I just wanted to let you know I ordered a Mansion TV on the 1st of April, and like all the others on here got very worried when I saw this and a thread on another site with the same info. I contacted my bank after not being able to get hold of them for days. My bank said you have to wait 21 days of non delivery before trying to claim it back. I thought I was being scammed so I went out and bought a brand new Samsung 32" LCD tv with led backlight, very nice tv but cost £280!! I sent Mansion a message on their site and told them that I was going to claim the money back from my bank and that if I didn't get it that I would seek legal action, well on Monday I got a response!!!!!! They said the TV would be dispatched and delivery yesterday. I wasn't in but got a parcelforce card and today went to pick it up from the local Post Office. It seems like a good TV, and quite comparible to the Samsung I got at the weekend, which I now have to decide which to sell as I really don't need to 32" TV's!! LOL.
I would say the experience was worrying and would not do it again. Mansion obviously need to get a HTTPS payment site sorted and their stock and deliveries also sorted, then they may start to get better press. I wouldn't say not to buy from them but would say that if your going to please don't expect to get it next day, it'll be more like 3 weeks. On the flip side the TV seems quite good and definitely good for the price, just wish they'd be a bit more honest and open.
Oh and yes, like the last few posts, I am a new user to this site. I posted mainly to put peoples minds at rest that if they have ordered they will get it and it's not a con.

Oh look if itsn't mansion's possible stooge, the one who said they would not post on here today.
Is that all you can look for, my spelling errors. You wouldn't happen to be the teacher that 1 one of these companies have listed as there director or company secretary.
Surely is it spelt "their" not "thier". Sure hope us taxpayer's didn't pay for your education.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

No disrespect or anything, you may very well be a genuine buyer, but by posting, you will have helped the people looking to decide not too buy, as it may prove exactly what some of us have been saying, the only people who get there TV and the (cough, cough) new people who just signed up. Apologies if you are genuine.
Many thank'sMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

There is a big box next to all Newbie posts that requests that Newbies be given a chance. Surely as a long standing member of this site you should know that. You were a Newbie once. I hope you got the same amount of stick from people on your first few posts. You should be ashamed of yourself for your condesending comments tonight.
If I were allowed to say I think you are a !!!! I would, but as it probably breaks the rules of this forum, I won't...... Althought from some of the comments I have read tonight, including yours, it will probably be the first and last time I post here, as there seems to be far to many people with THEIR heads up THEIR own !!!!!! for my liking!
ChrisB duck signing out...... Good luck to all waiting for a delivery.0 -

Quite right Dr Watson!!
It is "their" and not "thier"...I was just trying to confuse you more than you already obviously are!
However, you still don't get it as your above post obviously shows!
For the sane among you, I wouldn't trust this "regulars" advice. I think the fact that many people watching this forum are doing so purely for the "entertainment" value speaks for itself. God help you if you receive a TV and post on here that you're happy with it...these "regulars" will crucify you!0 -
I'm just waiting for Sherlock Holmes (aka FWOR) to rear his ugly head out of his "cave" tonight!
I've been far too busy with other matters today to waste more time on this forum than I already have...including Chelsea's great performance against Barcelona on my new HiDef 32" TV.0 -
Hey KJEG, "Chelseas great performance", I think you have a fault with your new tele haha! Send it back lol!0

Of course you were trying to confuse me even more :rotfl:
I am more than sure the sane people who read this can see through the smoke screen and see what mansion are all about, a fly by night company, who set up shop, make a bit of money and then close down, and start back up again doing the same thing over and over. Wonder how many more family members they have for company secretary or director.
I hope you all keep posting as well, it keeps this thread alive
Should also add, the information about mansion and there dubious ways of setting up companies and dissolving them within a year has been posted on a few more sites. So if people want to buy, then at least they will know they are in for a rough ride.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
