glossy laminate work surfaces and splashbacks

Love the Bush board brochure. Is this considered to be better quality than Duropal?

I used to work for a kitchen company and in our showroom the black glossy kitchens were full of finger prints and smears. No scratches obviously as they weren't used but it put me off every getting something glossy in my kitchen!

The more plastic-looking but textured ones seemed to cope the best. Plus you can put almost any cleaning product on them and even hot dishes. And they're cheaper! Prone to chipping at the edges though. But if your edge is next to say the fridge or something it shouldn't be a problem (my back door swung into mine... oops!)
