Car Parking Partnership (aka Liberty Printers)

I wonder if Liberty printers would take a small run order for some posters warning people that private parking tickets are un enforcable, and should be ignored, and then a list of car parking companies that send out fake tickets such as Car parking partnership

Thank you for the update, won't be long now before they decide to stop wasting money flogging a dead horse, and crawl back under their stone, never to be heard from again.

I hope you passed it on to all the other victims of these scammers?

Is it not the case that if its on private land they cant take you to court as its a civil not a criminal matter?

I seem to remember reading this somewhere but may have got it wrong :)

That is the point. A "penalty" (fine in other words) cannot be imposed on private land. A (civil) court would simply disallow it as unlawful, as has happened on most occasions where a parking company has been foolish enough to try. By describing what they charge as a "penalty" the company has therefore disqualified any claims it could try to make, for this reason. Not that I think this one ever tries. Criminal court does not even come into the equation!

Sadly, not everyone knows the law and people still get conned into paying, thinking it's legit when it actually isn't.

They can take you to court, but it will be the county/ small claims and not the criminal court.

Unfortunately my husbands tutor had already paid the 'fine' before he could explain to her and guide her to this site. As with a lot of people she was worried about the consequences....shame.
