    Good morning everyone!
I'm now up to NSD number 11 with one caught on Friday and another yesterday, which also means that I'm up to 11 NSDs in-a-row, which must be a personal best for me! :j

    Wow Chris ... that's fantastic:D - I need some tips!:o
Tried to spend the day in bed to rest the ankle/foot which is still sore but my dad came round to make me finish the painting, even though I told he not to  then said he thought I had done it deliberately to get out of finishing the house off this weekend. He then accidently kicked a glass of water down the stairs where it promptly smashed against my back. Fair enough my fault for leaving it there but he just laughed and wouldn't help clean up. To top if off he then smoked in my back bedroom out of the window knowing it would infuriate me :mad: bl00dy MEN!!!

Ohhh JCG, that's NOT good ..... I'd be mad too! Hope the ankle & foot are better soon (((hugs))) and you get to rest them a bit today
I do wonder if I'm going wrong somewhere - HELP! - I've counted today as a spend but actually wondering if I shouldn't as the money has already been put aside in the cats' budgeting pot ????

I've been having a think about the way I count my NSDs - the pots are a relatively new thing and this is really the first time I've had money set aside for things ..... so I've decided that if the money's already in a pot and has been put aside for something specific - it will be a NSD.

I think that should be OK with everyone? A bit like putting money aside at the start of the week to pay bus fares, gym etc but please let me know if you thing that's "cheating".

So .... I'm now claiming yesterday as No 5 - I could've done the same with the car things I've paid out in the past couple of weeks but - lets say, lesson learned!:)

Well, I must admit to feeling a bit "delicate" today :o entirely all selt inflicted and my own fault as I really don't drink much these days.

It didn't even help with my sleeping:mad: I slept wonderfully for around 3 1/2 hours but then ...... so feeling a bit washed out.

Loads to do today too as need to pick a chicken, make stock, soup and Risotto!

Have just realised I've no carrots so it looks like I'll need a wee trip to the sm:mad: so it's unlikely to be a NSD AGAIN! However, may just pop up to the market instead:)

    Have a great Sunday everyone:D

I think it's up to you to be honest.

When I get paid each month I transfer money into pots for bills (which is why I don't count direct debits as spends, the money gets spent on payday IYSWIM), entertainment, car repairs, presents and food.

I take the food money out in cash on payday, so that's my spend for the month on food, and the rest goes into specific accounts for it. The only one I would count as a spend would probably be the Entertainment pot, as it's rarely planned outings :D

    Do whatever suits you best!
