Of course we don't mind you poking your head in, you're very welcome to join us.
Good luck with getting your 5 next week, would you like me to add you to the front page so that you get a prize if you make it?
spoon xxI was hoping tomorrow would be a NSD but I have dog training class to go to. If I put the money to one side today, could I sneakily get away with claiming tomorrow as a NSD...?
That's fine, katy, a lot of the peeps here allocate money to different "pots" on a spend day so carry on with your NSD tomorrow.
Hope dog behaves himself again this time.

Hi lovely gang
Hope you're all having a good Saturday.
I'll be back later with a roundup and to catch up with you all then.
See you later

Thanks spoon,
I think I need to be a bit more organised with my 'pots' so I can start collecting more NSDs. I'm going to struggle with my target this month. Using it as a learning curve though!

Just checking in - Saturday is my spendy day. I've done my shopping and got the money out to buy petrol, but it's quite expensive where my mum lives so I'm counting getting the cash out today and I'll fuel up tomorrow when I go to work (but it's already accounted for).
Very disappointed with Asd@ today I have to say. I bought dd 3x tights a fortnight ago for £6 (school thick woolly tights), and already 2 pairs have come apart at the foot seam (she hasn't put her feet through, the seams have come to bits. So I took them back with the receipt but was refused a refund because I hadn't brought the third pair (in wash) or kept the original package for them! A piece of cardboard? So much for their 100 day quality, no quibble clothes guarantee. So another £6 on another 3 pairs of school tights (nowhere else to get them where I was today).Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Will apologise if this doesn't make sense / is full of spelling mistakes in advance ...[STRIKE]. onto [/STRIKE]just finished my 2nd glass of cider (usually only 1 can around once a month) as hoping it may help me sleep as it's been a "difficult" week... will be in bed before 9 at this rate!:o (and I will probably die of embarrassment when I read it tomorrow!)
Jinty (((hugs))) sorry things still aren't great at work - I'd agree with ... (was it Fresian? sorry:o) that the formal grievance route may be the way forward and would also scrutinise the policy & procedures so you know what should happen.
Red hope you have a lovely trip to Edinburgh - DM and I were going to see the Pandas at Christmas but we were a bit worried about the weather and whether they'd be out or not (they'd just gone on display) so have delayed until Easter .... can't wait!
I used to frequent Conan Doyle's in my "former life" quite a lot but haven't been recently ... would be a shame if it's changed a lot as it had loads of character.
It was really funny being in town on Weds as I was sitting on the bus going past street/places thinking "I used to work there" or "we used to go drinking there" and it really did seem a lifetime ago:(. I was especially taken aback when I discovered one of our favourite haunts for a Friday night had obviously been taken over / renamed etc....I feel for you Rising, got to take pud to the vet on Monday for her jabs too, last time we went she nearly had a set to with a dog and objected quite strongly to the vet trying to take her temp .
I got a new carrier a while ago (last one broke a catch after 15 years of service) when it was on offer and it's a normal front opening but the top also opens like a box.
The "new" vet was fantastic with her - really patient etc - and we just opened the lid and let her stay in there until she was calm and relatively happy (no trying to drag her out like the last one) and it all went really well:D
Best of all was the price .... £13.25 - even with a 1/2 price opening discount this is hugely cheaper than my old vet (paid £49.85 for big cat in September) so really happy .....I think I need to be a bit more organised with my 'pots' so I can start collecting more NSDs. I'm going to struggle with my target this month. Using it as a learning curve though!
Me too Katy .... I'm really struggling this month and I've been doing the challenge around a year now
I do wonder if I'm going wrong somewhere - HELP! - I've counted today as a spend but actually wondering if I shouldn't as the money has already been put aside in the cats' budgeting pot ????Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Jinty - hope you get work sorted soon (((hugs)))
Tried to spend the day in bed to rest the ankle/foot which is still sore but my dad came round to make me finish the painting, even though I told he not to  then said he thought I had done it deliberately to get out of finishing the house off this weekend. He then accidently kicked a glass of water down the stairs where it promptly smashed against my back. Fair enough my fault for leaving it there but he just laughed and wouldn't help clean up. To top if off he then smoked in my back bedroom out of the window knowing it would infuriate me :mad: bl00dy MEN!!!
Sorry rant over!
*calms self down *
Well anyway at least all the painting is done now! And I didn't fancy hobbling around the shops after so today was NSD 5
Want to get angry birds for my new phone but I'm resisting until I can decide whether to count as a spend day or not, as it will only be taken with my bill!

NSD #6 and 3 in a row acheived :j
I am still in my jammies and dressing gown. Never got up until 11 and had a nap around six. Lazy or what! I do have an excuse for my sloth like condition but the upside of my dodgy health is I don't got to the shops and acquire NSD's instead. Always a silver liningPAD-ing Since 7/1/11 2012 - £2329.10 2011 - £4760.88 :money:

Thanks BDINI!And I'm now up to NSD number 11 with one caught on Friday and another yesterday, which also means that I'm up to 11 NSDs in-a-row, which must be a personal best for me! :j
However, my chocolate mini-roll will end either today or tomorrow, as a food shop is on the cards, which I'll combine with paying for a mini break to look forward to in May!marmiterulesok wrote: »Thanks chris81418 you made me laugh!

Not only a personal best, Chris, I think that's the best we've ever had on the challenge, that's fantastic.
Another prizelet will be heading you way once I've done the update.
