  • Hey everyone
I've only been gone 2 days but feel really lost without the forum to post on, and help me keep on the straight and narrow.
Work was so stressy by Wednesday that I was just too busy to log on. In at work for 8am, home at 6pm and still had to bring stuff with me. Then yesterday I just couldn't get on, in spite of my best efforts - the forums just wouldn't have me. :(
Today has been spendy. Treated myself to fish and chips for tea and a couple of bottles of cider as it's now half term. I will need to go into work next week, but a rest from teaching is always good.
But Wednesday and Thursday were both nsd's - taking me up to 6 nsd's, with 5 in a row since Sunday.
Thank goodness, because I thought I was losing the mojo a bit.

forgot wee cat has to go for her booster:eek: - she doesn't travel well (understatement:eek:) and turns into a monster cat (you know when you see films of vets with thick long gloves ... that's her) but the poor wee mite gets so stressed it's awful for all involved.....

I feel for you Rising, got to take pud to the vet on Monday for her jabs too, last time we went she nearly had a set to with a dog and objected quite strongly to the vet trying to take her temp

Anyhoo, Wed was bonus day pay out , and my major treat was a new moisturiser from Cliniqu€, lovely!

I must admit I do use Clinique products since I tried them last year and they've made a massive difference to my skin, wouldn't go back to using anything else now.

Well I appear to have fallen off the NSD wagon a bit at the end of this week :o I knew yesterday was going to be a spend, got my eyebrows done, picked up some conditioner (decided against another bottle of the nice salon stuff this month, seem to go through it too quickly), and stopped at L!dl for a couple of bits last night too - got some rye bread for 69p, it's £1.20 in other places

Anyway, hoped today was going to be one, needed bread but thought I had a JTD to cover most of that, instead it was only 19p, but had some £ on a gift card...so far so good, but couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch and ended up getting smoked salmon (value stuff) and cream cheese to have on toast. Not only did I not enjoy it, but even using the vouchers I had I still had to shell out £1.30 and lost a NSD for it :( Must get back on the wagon this weekend else I'll have some manky kippers coming my way :A

I meant to sign up at the beginning of the month but I forgot . Can I join the challenge halfway through this month please? I'll aim for 15 NSD's and 6 in a row (nothing like aiming high!!)

I'm including DD's as spend days

    Thanks

Well today was doing well until I ended up at work very late and decided I couldn't be bothered to cook at the late hour I got home - so got a pizza take out instead - bad Delilahh!

Will start again Monday as the weekend is a definite spend for me.

    Good Morning

Up and at 'em nice and early this morning, plane to catch dontcha know

Spent the whole day yesterday cleaning the house, why does the house have to be sparkling before we go away anywhere???? It's cleaner now than it has been since the last time I went on holiday :o So yesterday was NSD #7 :j
I don't imagine today will be as I'll be buying breakfast at the airport but I am hoping just to spend what euros I have in my purse while we're away as that has already been counted in a spendy day.:)
I will, no doubt, bore you all half to death when I get back with the details though. ;)

    Have a great weekend x x

Thanks chris81418 you made me laugh! Thanks also spoon,Knitting Nora and Jinty re 'shouty man in the park',but it turns out he is right.:o.I walked through the park today using a different route, where I came a huge poster by the Parks Authority expressly forbidding the feeding of pigeons and crows in the park.Hm.....I don't entirely agree with their point of view.

:eek: Oh dear.........I dont entirely agree with that either, but it still didnt give shouty man the right to verbally abuse you! There ARE ways of getting your point across without behaving like that. The NSD gang are all behind you Marmite!;)
