No NSD for me as I paid for DS2 to go swimming with schooland while I was at it I put aside money for my coffee tomorrow so if that is all I spend tomorrow will be NSD 2 :D Fingers crossed. Looking forward to the snow this week-end (sorry for those who are sick of it or just don't like it!). We have had none here (Peterborough) and am keeping my fingers crossed that I can dust off the sledge I got in Jan last year that still hasn't been used yet :o Of course, I will have to check it for safety before I let the children use it. :o:p:D;):rotfl::j:T

    Several times ;)

(eta I have now also forked out for joining a diet website, using a cash back site of course, and using up the credit I had left when I overpaid my credit card on a couple of treats for myself. Well, it had been sitting there since beginning of Dec so it would be rude not to really :D And I have just made a payment for a hen weekend in Sept as I am obviously in the mood to spend  Well, it needed to be done and I have the cash at the moment)

Hello strangers! I've been MIA for months! Not abandoned my NSDs or MSE, just been unable to keep up with you all!

Spoony, I'm reading "The Etymologican" and I thought of you. :) And so it prompted me to come back, say hello and declare my NSDs - they are so much easier to catch when you're keeping an eye on them!

I'd like to declare NSD 1 for yesterday and because I'm rusty and because I might be heading to the other end of the country for an interview at some point this month - which will be expensive - I'd like to try for 8 NSDs in February.

I hope you are all well. I may be popping in sporadically but it's only because I'll be running around after them mischeivous NSDs!

I think a virtual Herman cake is a great idea :)

That way I won't be too upset if I manage to burn my real one!!

I had a look at a fair few sites about 18 months back, but a lot (which I think included Mr T's) seemed to tell you what to eat - and were heavily based on their 'healthy eating' ready meals.

In the end I rejoined one I was a member of in 2002/03, which gives you a calorie allowance according to your personal details and activity level - and then you enter what you eat/drink, but can eat whatever you like (meaning you can eat your normal meals, even if you adapt some to make them less calorific). The site offers a 1 day free trial to let you have a look at the tools.

I'm still a member (same userid as on here), but am currently using it more to get my nutritional (fat / protein / carbs) better balanced for my exercise level than to keep within calorie allowance.
