Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

    Hello fellow NSDers:)

Well I managed 16 NSDs in January which meant exceeding first target but not meeting second target of 4 in a row. Haven't been around lately as just too many computer problems :(

    I have decided on 16 NSDs February & 3 in a row.

Today should be my first, and half term will take some pre-planning:cool:

I hope everyone is having a FAB wedesday:)

Spend day for me, as it always is when 1st is a weekday due to d/debits (have 2 due on 1st)

I'm going to spend part of today working on an order for some food items from a discount type place - not everything's good value compared to the supermarkets, but the dried yeast is a fab price and I can save a few pennies/kg on strong flour and granulated sugar by buying in bulk (may well end up splitting the sugar with my chap as I've introduced him to the joys of M@ M@de marmalade - he made his first batch yesterday having tried some here the last two weekends, and sounded like he was in heaven last night :rotfl: ). I'll have to pay when I place the order, but won't be picking it up until Friday morning as I'm booking a collection slot for after my gym session - it saves a few miles on the journey, which saves on petrol costs ;)

Hi all, I really need to join this challenge. Had the minor lb moment last summer, then the sledgehammer lb moment after Xmas. Where on earth has all our money gone?!
Kept all my grocery receipts for jan and although I was being frugal, I visited the supermarket 18 times
So i will count every credit card and cash transaction as a spend, but not direct debits or debt repayments.
As it's half term this month, could you put me down for
    6 NSD for FEB

:hello:Hi Barbeduk and welcome to the NSD challenge.

Don't worry, there are several of us here (me included) who used to do exactly the same so you're in good company.

I'll be back later to add you to the front page but in the meantime pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

  • NSD day for me today - got my groceries delivered today, felt a bit lazy but justified it as I got a whole months worth of food so just need small trips to the shops now so more exercise for me as I will walk :) So anyway, even though it is early I am saying NSD 1 for me please spoon (and don't worry, just because I am a bit quieter does not mean I won't be keeping up with and an eye on the thread :D)

Also, would yous consider going to gym, and using a 20p on a locker as a spend??
