Pleased you are a bit better today CP. I heard something once that said, 'if we all got together and threw our problems in the air, we'd be happy to catch our own'. Its really helped me get through some tough times recently, thinking that no matter how bad things get, there is always someone worse off. Nobody would be better off without you, you sound like a wonderful person :A.
Wow Catherine thats so brave of you with your job! Good luck with all the money making!

ThanksNot so lucky really as I only did 5 hours a week cleaning for a measly £6.55 an hour. all I could get as I am partially disabled. (arthritis and ME) I do NOT get any benefits and refuse to ask for them. I am a photographer and engineer by trade and miss those wages! alot...
I am looking forward to dedicating more time to eb@y though
Thanks becksta this is a great thread to be involved withdefinately the best one by far. Such a lovely crowd. x

Yay! I won £68 on Fab Bingo! Thats £88 altogether and got back the initial money wagered, very happy indeed. My car tax is due at the end of the month and I was starting to panic a bit. Im leaving it at that now, withdrawn all my balance but I'll have a look in every now and again for any friend referals
Im feeling bad now, my ex-OH asked if I've been getting his Tesco vouchers. Told a little porkie pie and he said he remembered me talking about being able to reclaim unused vouchers  Thing is, he doesnt have any unused vouchers!I pocketed them all! I'll have to put him off the scent...

Congrats on the Bingo win - seems there's lots of luck lurking amongst this thread - and quite rightly so as it sounds like it's needed sometimes.
Well Nat - at least that shows he used to listen to you!! Thing is though if you look online at your Clubcard account does it not show what vouchers were spent where/when? It definitely tells you the ones that have been spent, I just can't remember how much detail it goes into. Lets hope he doesn't know he can check that then.
I forgot to add £6 yesterday from Pinecone. £10 from selling a dvd boxset on Facebook. Just trying to log in to online banking to see if anything else has arrived from anywhere. It's been dead slow this morning - possibly struggling to load the 6 figure fortune that's landed in my account from some mystery source?!?Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Just a quick one, on Superpoints, I've just watched a video under TrialPay offers worth 15 points. Good start to the morning.

And another 99p from fleabay.
It takes so much effort for so little return.
I have lots of stuff to sell, it's just that no-one wants to buy it!
And I don't have huge amounts of time when I can sit at the computer, what with work and kids and sorting out the in-laws' timeshare nightmare
But I am absolutely determined that we will go on a family holiday this summer...0 -

But I would feel lonely if no one else posted!!
True though - I tend to lurk in diaries, there's a couple I post on, and a 1 or 2 I read fairly regularly but only in lurkdom, I never post, and I dip in and out when I'm having a potter about!
Maybe I need to start posting more, as then if I so start one, people tend to migrate over and read and post on people who they are 'familiar' with from their own diaries.
Just need to think of a quirky title then!!
I'll post if you have one!
I've found having a diary soooo helpful while paying off this debt. I've got a few 'regulars' as it were and then all sorts of people who pop up from time to time.
I've got a lot of diaries I follow too, maybe post on half of them. As you say, you tend to post on the diaries of people you know from yoursDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
First off, a HUGE thankyou to everyone to has taking the time to PM me or ask how i am on this thread. Your support means so much to me all. I think i am finally caught up on my PM's!
Second, i had a VERY productive day yesterday. Enjoyed the couple of hours out with my friend and our kids. Just nice to be able to forget about thing for a couple of hours. Then i came home and cleaned my girls bedrooms/wardrobe out. I managed to get a HUGE holdall full of their clothes that no longer fit. This is being added to the piles of stuff i already have! :rotfl: I then spent around 3 hours catching up with my emails. I did LOADS of surveys including one from PCone so those LV should come through soon. In my email i also noticed a message from quidco, i forgot they pay out on the 15th too. Just checked my account and i have £15.06... So i have even managed to make some money!
I then proceeded to make some calls to more creditors and come to some arrangements. Some were nice :A... so were not  I'm still not where i need to be, but i now possibly only have around £150 to find this month now as opposed to over £400. I feel much better with that figure.
When i got back from work last night i sat down and did 5 listings for ebay. Not a lot i know, but its a start. I'm determined to get all this junk rid off, so i figured even if i did only 5 listings a day, thats 35 a week   I feel 5 a day is more easy to handle at the minute.
Oh... and i even managed to get some donations sorted for the girl with the fire from some local companies. I really hope her house is finished soon so she can enjoy her last few weeks in comfort with her kids. Like someone has said, no matter how bad we feel our problems are, there is always someone far worse off than us. I feel so bad now about the things i said, especially when i know what she is going through.
Anyway... Onwards and upwards! I need to do some housework and decide which 5 things to put on ebay!
Have a beautiful weekend everyone.
