~February 2012 Make £10 a day Challenge - everybody welcome ~

I'm a bit of a lurker on this thread as I thought making £10 a day would be impossible so I've been trying the odd thing here and there and its suprising what it adds up to, so I'm def gonna sign up to next months challenge.
It helps when other people recommend sites they have tryed and received money from. I tried the Fab B!ngo and only managed to win £8.87 but every little helps hey and without the guidance of MSE and the referral links this would not have been possible
well done on trying the challenge privately and well done on achieving some targets. Well done on bingo win and look forward to seeing you on next month's challenge.0 -
durham_mim, I have never used my tesco vouchers for rewards, so cannot answer that question.
Have you looked into alternatives? How about lastminute.com? They do spa breaks, or even groupon/wowcher/livingsocialdeals, etc? You may find something much better much cheaper. And personally, I would go all inclusive, as then you are not worrying about the extra treatments.
good luck hun.
Thanks Aesop. I have not used Tesco vouchers for rewards before either but the reason I thought of using them is because we don't have the actual cash and there is nothing else we want to use them for at this time.Weight loss 0/2st

Lets hope i can raise some money fast to get some gas, or lets hope the weather stays fine! Last thing i need at half term with 3 kids! Lol!
oh honey do you have a food bank or a local place such as a community centre that might be able to help you raise some pennies to get you through. Please seek help I know what it feels like when things get bad. I have depression in my family and it seems at the moment your at breaking point. Have you expressed any of these feelings to your family, friends or partner I know it sounds cheesy but sharing your thoughts and feelings really does help. Big hugs and hoep things start to change for you. I'm sure when things do start to get better you will feel like you needed to express what it currently happening with you.Positivity is the key there is a reason why life happens. Checked my bank account and £10 referral money from fab bingo has arrived together with £7 Quidco.
Having a frustrating day. Installed an adobe update and now the noso on sb will not work. The vids would not work either until I downloaded flash player again. Now a pdf coupon will not print.
I'm starting to feel really panicky re the things I need to do. I need to keep coming on here to earn money from the various sites but this takes time. I need to keep up with tasks around the house (which I'm not doing) and now the weather is better I need to get down to my allotment which I have no incentive for whatsoever. I'm worry that my daughter will not have anything special for her 18th. It is not until June but I realise we will have to plan in advance, trouble is my OH tends to leave things to the last minute.
I was planning to try X bingo this weekend but the way today is going it might not be a good idea.Weight loss 0/2st

Happy Friday everyone!!!
Hope you feeling better today Aesop
CP - i just read your post about contacting creditors etc - have you thought of a DMP? I was in an awful situation when i lost my job through illness and was struggling with everything. I tried so hard not to 'give in' to DMP but eventually i really had no choice - It was the best thing i ever did though and now i am getting on top of my debts again. Best thing was cos i could quote ref number ALL creditors had to give me 30 days grace - i think i paid them each £1. You don't even have to sign up for DMP to get ref number eitherjust do the interview bit where you say what is happening. Eased my worries completely and now i pay just £60 a month to my creditors instead of about £500 that i was paying before. Happy to talk to you about it if you want any more info
Also what is the situation with girl and housefire?? i must have missed that - will go have a wee search
Things really seem to be on the up for me at the minute finance wise, I have just withdrawn £160 from fab which i will add when i get it, and also got a letter this morning from ESA saying my money going up - think it is a rise rather than backpayment cos its from april. Also got £4 of tesco vouchers in the post toopity i can't add any of these to my total yet but so lovely to get the news!

This is my life right now too. I'm going to Florida on the 28th (So NOTHING to complain about) but I have so much to sort out first with money making, eBay listings, car tax due, finishing off work tasks since I will be off for 26 days, ensuring I have all the Florida related things done. I'm finding that lists are a lifesaver, just to calm me down and know I have everything listed so I don't have to worry about forgetting something.I like to make money

CP i have just read the post i missed!! I am so sorry to hear how bad things have been for you and for your friend too
such awful news for anyone to deal with - It is great that you have been able to help to support her, but please also make sure you have some support for yourself. Remember you have to look after yourself to be able to look after someone else and you have already been through so much too.
I am glad to hear you got some money through and you have managed to sort some things out for yourself at least a bit - I seriously recommend you talk to someone at cccs even just for advice if you haven't already.
And feel free to PM me if you even just need to write arrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh! I know exactly how it feels to be so low and sometimes just need to talk about things to someone who understands.
As for your friend - is there anything else she needs? I don't know if i can do anything but i can always try!
Huge Hugs to you, and well done for managing to get through everything you have over the past few weeks and to tell us all how things are for you - i know thats not easy either!
