Right, time to shut up. So sorry for going on (and on). I should really have had a diary, but don't think anyone would read lol, and feel I usually just natter on enough on here! :D

ah but if you did have a diary, the clever mathematical people would post on there to tell you if what you want to do is correct or not.

and don't assume people would not read your diary. There are a lot of lurkers who read but never post all over the forums especially the diaries.

£4.40 student discount on trainers for DS1, and £3 LVs - did the survey over a week ago and had just about forgotten about it so that was a nice surprise, lol.

Well I've just about caught up with the thread...

CP! :( What an awful time you've been having! Great news that you've now got money for gas. I've been there a few times and it's really not nice, especially at this time of year.

But I would feel lonely if no one else posted!!

True though - I tend to lurk in diaries, there's a couple I post on, and a 1 or 2 I read fairly regularly but only in lurkdom, I never post, and I dip in and out when I'm having a potter about!
Maybe I need to start posting more, as then if I so start one, people tend to migrate over and read and post on people who they are 'familiar' with from their own diaries.
Just need to think of a quirky title then!!

  • Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to fairy clicks. I've just been having a quick read over your blog and saw the link to the Royal Mail thingy. I'd tried to sign up to it a few months back but it was full, just tried again and think I might be in.

Not heard anything from shop and scan though. :(

  • Just done the Xbingo thing via topcashback. Requested a £25 withdrawal as won a couple of £12 odd full houses early on and decided to forfeit the £30 bonus money and quit while I was ahead (as I would have had to wager £120 in total before withdrawing if I had played into that). So, all being well £15 in profit even if the cashback does not track. If it does, then that's a £25 bonus on top.

Loving all this easy bingo that has been going on! Have to say though, would not dream of using "real" money on these sites - they must be raking it in!!!
  • Hi all...had a busy couple of days...quit my job as I am fed up with backstabbing and rubbish!!! So need to up my game and stay ahead of the bills now...

    Hi everyone

I am a long time MSE'r but tend to read & enjoy threads rather than post regularly. Having read this thread since the start of the year I wanted to congratulate you all for having such a warm, friendly and supportive thread. The fact that people can open up on here without fear of being judged or shouted down is wonderful and in my mind this is the best thread on the MSE forum.

I'm sure that a problem shared is a problem halved and hope all those who are going through both financial and/or emotional turmoil keep posting and keep positive.

I'm sorry if this is 'off topic' but felt compelled to write to show my support :o

    Best wishes, Becky
