I wrote a nice long post on here earlier about what I achieved yesterday and what I plan to do today. Then I looked at the clock and suddenly remembered I'd promised a friend I would meet her on the 1040 bus to go to a quilt show about 6 miles away. This was at 10 o'clock, and I was still in my jimjams!!!!! Shock horror!
Had a quick shower and dressed and got out by 1020 - then a 15 minute walk to bus stop. Stood in the freezing cold talking to a young man who was off to college. A woman then came up and asked me about buses into town. Just at this point, the bus appeared (with my friend on it) and sailed straight past the stop, leaving us standing! I hadn't seen it, otherwise I would have stuck my hand out - don't know if the young man did or not.
20 mins later the next bus came (by which time I was an icicle). Didn't even warm up on the bus - no heat on!
My friend eventually met me off the bus, very shamefaced, as she'd just found out the exhibition didn't open until 2pm!!! Oh well, we went for a coffee, then got the bus home again! (I HATE wasting time though!)
Got back here, had a bit of lunch, now am back on here to see what I'd said I would do today - and my post is not here - obviously lost it in my rush to get out!
But, I'll clean the back bedroom. And, am able to report that I achieved goals yesterday, though instead of clearing out the basket I did the filing cabinet and got rid of over a year's old paperwork. Such a relief!
Before tackling the bedroom I'm going out for a short walk to blow the cobwebs away!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
Oh dear have to report a lack of flying this week due to a very busy week sorting everyone else out -So- am going to make all my children and husband help tomorrow -am drawing up the list of tasks and I will sit down and ahem "volunteer" them all to help!
Feeling cross as I don't make the mess but am expected to tidy it all up! Not any more.....everyone can do their bit and then we can all have a treat later! :-)

Not done much Flying as spent aaaaages typing a big document. Also been researching chook related stuff as one of my girls, Betsy, is decidedly off colour and I've prepared the children for the worst. House is a mess but it has been worse. Best get on ..

well not a very productive day today, cold seems to have come back with a vengence, DS is suffering with it as well so has been quite clingy, and I didn't get much sleep last night after getting some bad news. So all I've really done is washing up & 1 load of washing. Hopefully I will get back on top of things next week.
Have a good weekend everyone0 -
Haven't done any HHCs for ages so off I go. Catch me up if you wish.0
