Parking Eye - Always a scam??

I was wondering about motor bikes. eg google street view at Welcome Break on the M40 near Oxford shows the conditions and fees sign but dont mention the rates for motorcycles only cars and above. I cant seem to add a link or post an image as the system wont allow me grrr
This is I emailed them and they told me the 2 hr free rule also applies to motorcycles. Seems to me they are wrong if the sign is any thing to go by? How can there be a contract if they dont tell me how much?0 -
Is this a scam or I should pay?!!!!!!
I paid for 8 hours of parking in Maida Vale which costed me £15, and I arrived at my car 14 minutes late, so total of booking is 8 hours,14 minutes.
10 min is a usual time where all companies allow you to be late. so these guys are now charging me £100 for being 4 minutes late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have sent them the receipt showing I paid for 8 hours and they said "our record shows that insufficient time was paid for", yes for bloody 4 minutes where I paid 8 hours worth of parking!!!!!!!
They don't even let you to appeal again and say you can take it further but you might face other implications as well as more money you have to pay for this penalty!
This is just unacceptable and I am going to write to my colleagues at Westminster council about. I know this is a private land and ParkingEye is managing but the land still owned by the council, and they are ripping off their residents!0 -

What the heck???
My brain is fried by the above. There are just a few little cells left that are telling me loud & clear that instead of 'referring you to Parking Eye', Holiday Inn (if they are the landowner) should have cancelled the PCN.
If H I are not the landowner, then get them to tell you who the landowner is, to confirm that no parking fee was required by email and then send the landowner a very clear complaint quoting that email and insisting on cancellation. If H I are the landowner then they must cancel the charge before you go insane.
You have been given the run around I think. And then some. When it comes to parking charges Citizens Advice and probably Resolver and all the other bods involved in this saga are chocolate teapots.1 -

I suggest you have a quick conflab with Holiday Inn who seems to have promised you could park for free.
Hopefully they will agree that you pay the parking charge (to get the parking company off your immediate back) and Holiday Inn then refund you accordingly.
Although if this was a training course, there were presumably many others similarly affected, and Holiday Inn may already have an alternative immediate resolution in place for the delegates that attended.
Have you brought this to the attention of the Nicholls & Clark Group who seem to have made the hotel reservation for this training course? Maybe they have agreed a resolution with the hotel?
Who paid for the training course, and if applicable, for you to attend it?0 -

Why pay anything ??? The Holiday Inn have problems with Parking Eye and they know it.
The OP gets the hotel to cancel the charge either by the manager or the CEO.
Paying these cowboys can only add to their pot to attack others0 -
No-one PAYS a scammer PPC just to reclaim it from a Hotel, why would anyone want scumbag PPCs to have more money?
Complaining to the hotel/landowner gets it cancelled. No paying scams.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
