I've just had one from parking eye, this time for a car park owned by the Lake District national park. Paid by phone, including setting up the account, but they seem to have missed this fact.

As it was on a car park owned by a council, so to speak, i played safe and I have successfully disputed it, and got a letter to confirm this.

I've now sent them an invoice for my time... If they don't pay up... I will invoice the car parl owner.. It took me 2 hours to compose my email and photograph the records of calls and text messages on my phone that proved I'd paid.

What a scam. I have spoke to the Lake District national park parking person and told them exactly why I think of them using con men like parking eye to manage their car parks. I have no problem paying for parking, I was annoyed at extra cost and time taken to set up pay by phone just cos I was a few pence short of having money, and that made it even worse when I got he parking charge notice for 100 quid thro the post.

You also failed to see that this is an old, dead thread. You need to go and start your own to get the most current and up to date advice.

I may be duplicating here, forgive me i'm new! I've received a £90 fine as only bought ticket for 3 hrs and stayed 3hrs 4mins. They snapped me entering and leaving car park. Having read the threads the general consensus seems to suggest non payment. £90 for 4 mins seems a bit steep to me - probably took 2 mins to enter reg no into machine etc., Police not heard of Parking Eye and said to call NCP. Any thoughts???

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
