Is that why Samsung think Google's takever of Motorola is not a good thing for them?
That was the point I am trying to make, the Android will be around for many years but most if not all products will be released by Motorola. The Google can change the terms for Android to stop others from releasing Android phones or only give the updates to Motorola. The Google have already done this with some version of Android.

If this was to happen and this is what Samsung / HTC think will happen reading from the statements.

Let's see what everyone is saying about Googles buyout of Motorola Mobility:

Well OP, looks like you're talking out of your (Apple filled) !!!!! once again...

If I was you I would stick to Apple proudct for your need. snip

Where else with the Apple products you know what you are buying and updates etc are much easy to get. YOu would not get problem like this app only work with 4in screen or only with this OS version, very common with Android devices.

Considering there are apps for ipad only , then you do get get that common situation with apple products :p

your link says HTC are cutting back on their smartphone portfolio
you know HTC dont make just Android smartphones?

this whole statement shows how Apple is perfect for you.
    baaaaa

Its not about windows Phone, Android or Apple being perfect or not.
With the Android too much out in open with the purchase of Motorola.
Is Google going to focus more on Motorola only?
One reason why samsung is worried and trying to release its own OS.
Is HTC going to reduce the product line because it knows Android product range have a limited life for them?
Is Google going to make Android more close system?
If it does than HTC / Smasung dont have much extra to offer.

With Apple you know what you are getting

lots of whats ifs and speculation.
you are determined to stick with Apple
thats fine.keep paying through the nose
If less people did, then the prices would be more in line with comparable phones

No OS is perfect, and never will be

With the Android too much out in open with the purchase of Motorola.
Is Google going to focus more on Motorola only?

No, it's going to be run as a completely seperate company

One reason why samsung is worried and trying to release its own OS.

They aren't worried though. Not sure where you are getting this info from?

Is HTC going to reduce the product line because it knows Android product range have a limited life for them?

HTC is reducing it's product line as sales were down in the 4th quarter of last year. They are going to be focusing on high-end smartphones, which is what they are best at, instead of having smartphones, tablets, laptops etc in their product mix.

Is Google going to make Android more close system?

No, not at all. Android is and always will be open.

If it does than HTC / Smasung dont have much extra to offer.

With Apple you know what you are getting

Very true, and that's why I'd never buy anything from Apple.

    Yaaaaaaawn...

No one is saying OS is perfect.

Do you work for the Google and have the inside info?
Because Samsung, HTC and others dont seem to agree with you.

They aren't worried though. Not sure where you are getting this info from?
Do you also work for Samsung and have the inside info?
If you do than the news paper such as FT are making up the stories and you should ask your legal team via Samsung to look into this:
    Refer to the link below:

If you are making things up than it is no good for the post as this can misslead others and you are only trying to put your point if right or wrong.

Very true, and that's why I'd never buy anything from Apple.
That just show that you are closed minded person who is willing to make things up to prove the point. I will never say never

You also seem to be making many things up rather than look at the facts. This is not a typical iphone, android or windows phone user, just the closed minded person who is always right.

most smartphones will be fine for what is needed, some people LOVE iphones, some dont, same as every o.s has lovers and haters, i would have to have my toes cut off and fed to me before i would use a blackberry.

i have a 3 year old iphone 3g, bought it a year ago for £50, spent £45 on a new battery and its as good as anything else, only problem now is half the app store isnt supported :(

i'm thinking of buying something more modern at some point or might just run it into the ground and buy a rebadged zte off one of the networks as i am on a contract from when i worked in the mobile industry and it wouldnt do me good to get rid of that haha
Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?
