    If the CFScript goes to plan, dequarantine.txt should read:
    C:\qoobox\quarantine\c\users\Dell\GoToAssistDownloadHelper.exe.vir
    -> c:\users\Dell\GoToAssistDownloadHelper.exe

    Then uninstall combofix.

    Open a Run command box as you did before. (Windows key + R) and copy paste this command in:

    ComboFix /uninstall

    Note the space between ComboFix and /uninstall , it needs to be there.

    Click OK

    let combofix uninstall itself.

    Let us know if you have any problems.

    make sure your 'new' gmail password is a good one (not just a single word, or too short etc)

    Nearly forgot....
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7

    Uninstall that.

    Then install the latest version of Java.
    You need either:
    Java SE 6 update 30 (JRE), or Java SE 7 update 2 (JRE)

    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

    Windows x86 Offline 16.14 MB jre-6u30-windows-i586.exe
    Windows x86 Offline 19.35 MB jre-7u2-windows-i586.exe

    The importance of keeping it updated.
    As reported in the latest volume of the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report (volume 11), the most commonly observed type of exploits in the first half of 2011 were those targeting vulnerabilities in the Oracle (formerly Sun Microsystems) Java Runtime Environment (JRE), Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and Java SE in the Java Development Kit (JDK). During the one year period starting in the third quarter of 2010 (3Q10) and ending in the second quarter of 2011 (2Q11), between one-third and one-half of all exploits observed in each quarter were Java exploits[1]. During this one year period, Microsoft antimalware technologies detected or blocked, on average, 6.9 million exploit attempts on Java related components per quarter, totaling almost 27.5 million exploit attempts during the year.

    Well im still concerned how long malwarebytes took

    I was quite surprised you said that because my scans on XP, Vista and Win7 machines all take between 2-4 hours.

    It doesn't appear overlong according to this.....

    Im just taking my own experiences into account * the amount of information being read

    It could well be that 3 hours is fine. I just want to make sure

    Especially as the OPs original issue could well be from something nasty on the computer
