MP3/MP4 - which one to buy?

Hi MSE Members,

I am enlisting all your help to find an MP3 and MP4 player.

Ideally the internal memory should be atleast 16GB with expandable memory (via memory slot) and a very good battery life. Maximum spend to be around £120.

However, I was wondering what make and brand would you suggest in getting that will last a very long time? I am not so good with technology and would like to get one for myself.

You want both an mp3 player and an mp4 player?
Or you want something that will play both?

This doesn't seem to have expandable memory but is it a must?

Battery life is very good. And Sony is a good brand for music. Personally I like the Creative mp3 players but that's just me, I'm used to them.

This one has expandable memory, battery life not as good as the other but still good.
It's touch screen.
It plays FLAC files which is great (mp3 files are compressed so you lose some of the music quality, this doesn't happen with FLAC files. But it's only important if you use them)

There is a LOT of choice out there - can you narrow down any more preferences?

example:
Will you use it a lot for video?
Do you care about screen size?
Do you want it to play radio?
Would you prefer it to be big or small?
Do you want touch screen?

Looking for one on amozon or ebay.
