sco0ter wrote:Not very good for comparison... It says its comparing to the Talex and not the lite version yet doesnt list all the Talex features like school warnings and congestion charge zones.. Also price is over £100 pounds out..
cant find any independant reviews about the device or the database..
Microfuzion has won awards - see the homepage.
There are reviews on Amazon (UK), reviewcentre and elsewhere.
See:

It provides school, danger, and charging zones too.
It works out cheaper in the long run as you do not pay for any updates. If others charge ~£30 a year for updates then they are going to cost you more in the long term.
Microfuzion provides UK and EU coverage.0 -
I managed to get one from an Aldi store on Saturday at £59.99 so they are still available.0

Updates are now FREE0 -

It will sync when it finds a satellite lock.. Just found out the aldi ones are the old TALEX LITE and not the new version despite what has been shown on aldi website... You still have to purchase an update kit but NOVUS have no details how to do it...0

Old one with subscription
New one without subscription (as sold by Aldi)
If yours is the new one then I have been told you dont pay a subscription as Novusgs are doing the free subscription based on the serial no and hardware ident when conected to the update server, I'm not sure how (or if) they are going to handle the old model on free updates.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
thanks mine is the new one
and it does say on the box
free lifetime database updates included0 -
