Do you, or anyone you know, shoot living things for sport?

Shooting animals or birds is barbaric. We're not in the wild west where living creatures need to be killed in that way for food. I always think people who enjoy shooting must have some kind of inadequacy in another area of their lives
"Ooohhh..eerrrrr missus!"
Do you eat birds or meat or fish?
Would you rather they lead a free existance untill cropped for your table?, or were kept in cruel and cramped disease ridden accomodation then slautered by an automatic machine?
It's your choice. If you are a vegi/vegan then fine, or maybe you support the halal thing and want all your meat throat slashed?
End results the same, you eat, they die.
What about your fish then?,
Farmed salmon or halibut anyone?, never seen water outside the pen apart from at birth. Then force fed untill fat enough to make a profit, then suffocated.
If you were a fish would that be your option?, to be free untill by chance you were captured and quicly despatched or hung to dry.
Please post informed text next time, however if you are a vegan then I have some respect
, for the meat and fish at least. I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
..........I don't understand the mentality of someone who can take a life or cause pain to another living thing *just* for fun. These people are not hunting for food, they are hunting for sport. I also don't understand why they can't substitute clay pigeons in place of a live bird. The object is to hit a target so why does it have to be a live one?
...........
It's the same as fishing. So long as you eat it afterwards, it's ok.
I know a lot who shoot and fish, the food does taste very good compared to factory farmed tesco.
But I also sympathise with your daughter, if you are a vegetarian, it is distressing to see how animals are taken by others, with different standards.0
