GGGB10YR appears to have spiked in the past few days. Was 6.70% three days ago. Now showing at 8.96% as of noon today. That's some shift.

The problem is that austerity is never popular, particularly the level of austerity needed to dig your way out of the debt mountain the Greeks have amassed. Some people seem to be worried that there might have to be an election soon, Syriza are ahead in the polls, and they apparently want to default and only pay 50c on the Euro.0 -
