What do you expect from a bunch of people who don't wear Ties

I thanked you, thinking that you were being ironic? During the last (approx.) 10 years of being employed as a chartered QS, I decided that I was going to stop dressing the way that they wanted me too (except when it was important, i.e. face to face with important clients). I found that they just gave way, if they had not I would have moved on, people should be paid for what they know, not the way that they dress.

So, is Greece all sorted now then? That is the impression i'm getting from the media. It's all ok now. Go back to bed everyone. Nothing to see here.

    Looking increasingly that way.

Greek fudge anyone? It's the EU way: crisis until the last minute followed by a vaguely satisfactory agreement that's rather like a 3-3 draw in a football match. Everyone goes away a bit disappointed but glad they didn't lose.

    It's the Southern European way.

Lot's of noise and arm waving, and in the end do nothing and hope it goes away.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...

I'm sure I worked for a company that ran their business like this!

Be careful, often the smarter you dress the more you compensate for failings elsewhere... I love companies where the boss is in jeans and T shirt and drives a lambo!
