  • Supermarket checkout signs stating "10 items or less". It should be "10 items or fewer", thank you very much.

And other people's toast crumbs. To be fair, they are worse.

Still agreeing with loads on here, I must be an old grump! ;)

Just thought of another one that really gets my back up. My BIL (who is a complete tool) is always waffling on on Facebook about having a 'Bru'... if you must shorten 'Cup of tea' then please write 'Brew'! Does my t1ts in!

People who say they 'fell pregnant'....how can you fall onto a pregnancy, makes no sense!

Writing 'Lolz' after every Facebook status.

Security guards in shops giving me the 'Death Stare' and presuming they intimidate me, they don't.

Those phone calls from recorded PPI reclaiming messages.

Those phone calls clearly from Indian/Asian call centres whereby they tell me 'Hi my name is Derek/Alan/Joey', it clearly isn't why lie, we have no rapport.

Stamped addressed letters that have our local takeaways menu in...what a waste of everything.

People thinking that everyone working in the public sector has a cushty job, with a gold plated pensions and a fantastic wage.

Doctors who prescribe you antidepressants when you have a serious auto-immune disease.

Doctors who lecture you on the 'mysteries' of modern medicine because they can't be bothered to refer you anywhere and again, try to prescribe anti-depressants.

People who turn a blind eye to abuse and domestic violence.

People who say 'don't get involved' when the (immediate) above is happening.

Parents who use children as weapons in whatever the situation.

People who hate children and teenagers, !!!!!!, you were once that child/teen, where did your memory go?

The lack of the smaller trolleys instead of the huge bucket like trolleys in supermarkets.

People who seriously believe that you will think they are some kind of superior human being because of the car they drive.

People who grab as much help as they can when on they way down but pull the ladder up when sorted out and are smug and elitist when in a better position against those less fortunate.

People who don't smile or chat back to the little child nattering away or shouting 'Hello' when out and about.

I have a friend on faceache who is unable to spell the word "in". She always writes I'n on her status updates and comments. If I had to see her often, I would end up shaking her!

People who write "im" meaning "I'm"

People that chime in and say the last word of your sentence as you say it

People in supermarkets who pick up something and then discard it - I once saw a stair gate dumped in a freezer  Can't you just take it back to at last somewhere near to where you picked it up? And supermarket picnickers who wander around picking up food, eating and drinking then put the wrapper on a shelf instead of paying for the food they've just stolen. Or (sorry, am on a roll) who pick up a loaf of bread, say, drop it, then put it back and take another one! If you don't want one that you dropped, why would anyone else?

I don't work in a supermarket btw but I get driven to distraction in them watching other people's behaviour :o

People who talk loudly on their mobile phones in a waiting room so you can't hear your name being called. The receptionist actually came out at the doctors today and asked people to please take notice of the signs saying "Please turn off your mobile" but it made little difference.
Also people who ignore their children when they are talking to them. One litttle boy was trying to show his mum something and in the end she shouted at him to "shut up and leave me the XXXX alone while I'm playing angry birds" The poor child was only about 2 :(

and today, down our road, people who have cleared their drives of the snow and piled it high either side of their drive on the path, so high that you have to walk onto the road to get round it, totally ignorant!

Last time someone did that, I just walked through it kicking it down to an acceptable height. They shouldn't block the pathway and when they cleared it a second time, they put the snow in a better place.
