You're right about the the lack of bargains in that store. Scanned loads the other day and all correct prices...:( :rotfl::rotfl:
C.Cross is a better store for bargains and DTD:)

My Mum popped home this morning with her Father to get him out the house for a bit, then they went to feed the ducks and now back at theirs for lunch. She won't be home til tomorrow night nowI know I should grow up:p:o but the place is so dull without her around, especially when I feel pretty carp
Currently working out how to spent this £5 off £40 voucher....like you celebrate I hate to see it go to waste so am trying to get it down with coupons and to give me a good JTD backTHANK YOU for your JTD posts Tazmac, very helpful :T

Morning All , a nice mild Sunday here . I guess it'll be a ice the cake project today .
Have a super Sunday lunch .
your a hillbilly artha ....pluck us up some bluegrass .
I love some of the old time US of A tunes from the 30's & 40's , working mans music for the working man .
Actually I am in a way:rotfl: For the first few years of life I lived in a local area called Haverton Hill which was one of the poorest places to live at the time. Inhabitants were known as Haverton Hillbillys:rotfl: The area has long since been bulldozed but it didn't take much doing as it was in the shadow of the old ICI Sulphuric acid plant (in the days before pollution control) and the acid in the air dissolved out the mortar from between the bricks:eek:
Must admit I am an afficianado of american blues/folk blues/bluegrass/traditional/hillbilly/dustbowl music. Did a camping trip once in the states which included the Blue Ridge Mountains in redneck country and definitely felt at times like "Deliverance" (still one of my favourite films):)Awaiting a new sig0 -

One other magical moment was standing with my friends on the ice field parkway on what looked like a huge sapphire (the water is glacial and when it freezes it looks blue) having had a ride in one of those vehicles with tracks (sorry suffering a little from the vino consumed last night and brain won't wake up and tell me what there called) drinking shots of something nice at -30.
:):)
Did you go on one of these to get to the ice fields?
I've been thinking, I have hundreds of pics of my travels but I never have anyone to show them too.
Who would be up for seeing half a dozen pics a day from my travels?0 -

Looks like you've got some amazing pics, I for one would love to see them! Although I may go slightly green with envy! :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Morning all
Hugs to mrs 3dogs have a safe journey
Fascinated about the mystery shopper mahruz was that you?
My sis is looking for work this might be right up her street, any advice on how to get into it and how good the income is
Might brave a trip to T's today, can't stand the thought of a £5 off £40 voucher going to waste! Even though I'm sure I'll struggle to spend it
I did some research on this and the general consensus was that http://www.retaileyes.co.uk/ is one of the best.0 -

I wasn't trying to upset anyone, I think this is the same in every business nowadays what with the growth of the Internet. Until recently I worked for an Opticians and not a day would go by without a customer asking for a contact lens prescription so they could buy their lenses online.
I buy my contacts online with cashback mainly because I wear them so rarely it would be ridiculous signing up for 3 month packs etc my nephew on the other hand likes the hands on approach of the opticians & is signed up for a package.
Its a bit like being able to have a copy of your glasses prescription & being able to go anywhere, it is legal so why not. I still have the eye tests at the Opticians & pay a premium for the contact test would rather use the independant than Tesco thats whats putting everyone out of business they have their fingers in too many pies.0 -

I'm more new country myself & listen to the country radio stations through the internet in fact I have one playing now.0
