The main thing that puts people off is needing to register as self employed and do a tax return but its not that bad. (as long as you keep your books up to date of course)

BTW ... big thanks to OP who reported the split bags of compost at B&Q that are reduced to 50p each. I picked up 2 that had a 2 for £5 offer on (£5.99 each) and got them both for 50p (i.e. 25p each).
I would have got them for nothing and 98p off rest of shop if I'd bought a few extra things. I had 1 extra item (£21.99) so the SA spotted that my total was less than this item and so entered the reduction manually ... I did act the :Aand mentioned that she'd only 'charged' me 50p for 2 bags and she just waved me thru0 -

This is the hammer it has a SEL of £29.00 (mine was yellow SEL RTC - no date on it) scanned at £65.99 use a £5 off £40 spend and you end up £12.99 in credit with a 10p off pertrol and a £5 off £40 spend for next week0
