The main thing that puts people off is needing to register as self employed and do a tax return but its not that bad. (as long as you keep your books up to date of course :()

BTW ... big thanks to OP who reported the split bags of compost at B&Q that are reduced to 50p each. I picked up 2 that had a 2 for £5 offer on (£5.99 each) and got them both for 50p (i.e. 25p each).

I would have got them for nothing and 98p off rest of shop if I'd bought a few extra things. I had 1 extra item (£21.99) so the SA spotted that my total was less than this item and so entered the reduction manually ... I did act the :Aand mentioned that she'd only 'charged' me 50p for 2 bags and she just waved me thru :o

Now that I have one I have no idea what to do with it!

Not something I am likely to use but I don't really want to raise my profile by taking it back for a refund.

    This is it:

That reminds me of people who go into the big electrical shops to browse and get info on stuff but fully intend to go and buy it from the Internet
i do that . i go to currys/comet to see /feel the items have a look around it. then buy it online from currys/comet. its cheaper than instore. if they could give me the same price instore then they would get my money instore but they dont.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.
