    morning everyone
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!

    Hi tazmac
Thanks but jtd'ing is too stressful for me, vivid memories of sleepless nights in DTD days come flooding back.I think I might do a normal shop, my son has developed a fetish for cheese strings and eaten 4 packets this last week, I may as well stock up, he's tiny the amount he eats I'm surprised he isnt overweight
Hopefully will be spending a day or two up your neck of the woods over half term (actually think we're nearer tweets). But doubt if I'll get much T's ing done with 3 whining kids don't know how you lot manage it.

    Yes I do T's :D

As for what you have to do, it depends you are given a brief and you follow that ie a visit to a toy store, maybe you would have to ask, is a certain toy suitable for a 4 yr old (when its clearly not as it says age 5+) and see if the assistant picks up on the fact its not suitable and offers you an alternative product, for that you may get a £5 for doing the job and a fiver to spend in the store, the high paying jobs are few and far between, when you start out you will be visiting burger bars for a burger and £2-3 *pay*

Thanks to kadison too and everyone else that's offered me holiday tips....all on my list, armed and ready for a visit to the travel agent to squeeze as much info as I can from them, without actually booking ;):D

I used to own a travel agency.

It was quite heart breaking sitting there day after day giving people the benefit of our knowledge and experience - sometimes wasting many hours of our precious time trying to help put together fantastic holiday plans for ungrateful people who came in to "squeeze as much info" as they could from us before booking elsewhere.

It felt like people valued our knowledge enough to come in and ask for our help and advice but not enough to pay for it. Not sure how they thought we paid for premises, salaries etc.

I quite understand if you think a travel agent is a waste of time and you can do it all yourself - good for you, go for it. But it really gets my back up when people think it is OK use the information available in an agency but not support it financially. Next year when you want to pick their brains they won't be there - they will have gone bust.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
