sure not a major issue if your buying from same store online but a bit cheeky if your buying from a cheap obscure online company (like my OH does)

A most productive day at Mr T's yesterday! Went to 5 in all and here are the abbreviated "highlights"
1st store , got refund for a DTD item on a non-golden receipt, I was expecting a trouting but they were lovely and gave me back the amount I should have paid no problem. Same store, got 8 x 1p Temptations through a manned till:T and told SA where to find them!! Also used my price check that I mentioned the other day,I had taken some of the items on it back while I waited 3 days for it to come through. No problem using said price check voucher:T
BC on Temptations box is 5493...big thanks to the OP.
Later got a nice DTD on some sleeping bag liners, sel £2 charged £7 lol paid to take away!!:rotfl: Again huge thanks to the OP! B/C is 3230.
Also something to watch out for, I tried to use the eat live enjoy voucher from the magazine, didn't realise it expired on the 7th Feb... Put said eat live enjoy whoopsie back, wasn't paying 87p for it!!
Not a bad day all in all, I could have missed a couple of stores as I found nothing in them at allbut I can't complain!
:T:T:T
I know some of you go to the Upp3r B04t P0ntypr199 "extra" as they are now calling it , can you tell me please is there a scanner there now? The one in the biscuit aisle is gone...Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

were they marked up aty 50p????
All split bags were 50p (only saw one marked but I asked CS).
I got 2 x 50L Miracle Grow All Purpose Compost (can't even see where they're split) They were inside an open, clear plastic bag and they each have a £1 MOC off some lawn food. :j
Some were in their right places but there was a small pile at the end of one 'aisle'. HTH
I may get some more tomorrow cos they had 4-5 of the long flat bags that you can grow tomatoes in0 -

There is a scanner in the aisle with the car stuff....you tend to feel very 'exposed' when using it though, not as out of the way as the one that was in the biscuit aisle.Born to glitch0 -
What do you actually have to do?
And anyone mystery shop in T's???
I've been a mystery shopper for about 16 years. Never mystery shopped in T's - mainly do auditing and merchandising there.
Shopper fees have really dropped lately, so only really good for a free meal (usually fast food), or coffee. There are still a few decent paying jobs around.
On the 'up your income' board, there's a sub-board about mystery shopping. It tells you who all the genuine MS companies are as there are alot of scam ones out there. Never pay to become a mystery shopper, even with the promise of lots of assignments. x0 -

Thank you!:j I saw a scanner in there just before they sorted the new electrical section which was totally exposed... very scary lol!
Bargains very few and far between in there lately though:(Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

Minnie-the-Minx wrote: »I used to own a travel agency.
It was quite heart breaking sitting there day after day giving people the benefit of our knowledge and experience - sometimes wasting many hours of our precious time trying to help put together fantastic holiday plans for ungrateful people who came in to "squeeze as much info" as they could from us before booking elsewhere.
It felt like people valued our knowledge enough to come in and ask for our help and advice but not enough to pay for it. Not sure how they thought we paid for premises, salaries etc.
I quite understand if you think a travel agent is a waste of time and you can do it all yourself - good for you, go for it. But it really gets my back up when people think it is OK use the information available in an agency but not support it financially. Next year when you want to pick their brains they won't be there - they will have gone bust.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
Sorry I'll go and sit on the naughty step!
Just to clarify I'm not necessarily saying I won't book through a travel agent, goodness knows it will be much easier than booking everything seperately! I have atleast 3 travel agents in the very small town in which I live, one of which is an independent and whom a friend has used for years and always got very good deals from, but that's mates rates. If a travel agent were to offer me a deal with a small fee for their services then of course I would be more than willing to pay, but if the increase was almost 100% as was the case when QPR10 enquired about her holiday to Orlando then I'm afraid that it's only a matter of time before the travel agent goes bust all by itself! I will as I said already be parting with a sizeable amount of money for insurance for myself and my mother so as T's would say....every little helps!
I wasn't trying to upset anyone, I think this is the same in every business nowadays what with the growth of the Internet. Until recently I worked for an Opticians and not a day would go by without a customer asking for a contact lens prescription so they could buy their lenses online.'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0
