    Hello guys n gals.

I have not have 2 spare mins all day, I have no idea how to fit everything I need to do into 24 hours.

Respect to all you dieters out there. This is the end of day 2 of SW, i've totally stuck to it, but it is HARD. I really can't imagine doing this for months on end. I've some to the conclusion that fat and sugar free food isn't that tasty. :(

They are Jordans Chunky Traditional Porridge Oats, came free just before xmas with the £1 Jordans coupon. Honey was 10p a bottle so only thing that was really paid for was butter and sugar...heres the recipe

    75g butter
5 tablespoons light brown soft sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup ( I replaced this with Honey)
    150g porridge oats

Melt butter, sugar and syrup until melted, stir in the oats and cook for 20-25 mins at 180....

Think i'll add some chocolate Orange next time.....

Melt and drizzle some over the top...nom nom nom!!! :D

Though they do look terribly yummy just as they are :)

    Evening guys :p

OH wants cheese and pineapple on sticks ,stuck in a foil covered spud at Toni`s reception :( No way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :rotfl:
Suggest a variation on the theme - skewers with those little balls of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes ( the nicest tasting ones) separated by fresh basil leaves with a drizzle of balsamic reduction. And maybe no foil potatoes on this occasion. :) Could serve on a pretty plate - I have some of those Italian painted ones with grapes/ lemons etc moulded and painted on them which are lovely for the summer, or you could put them on a plain white plate on cabbage leaves or nice lettuce.

If spuds must feature, (and they're yummy) , baby potatoes with the bottom sliced off so they stand upright, cross cut in the top and squeezed, with sour cream and chives on the top on a nice plate ( look good on black but prob wont' work with your theme!)
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • Have been gone a few days and a shiny new thread has started:rotfl:Thanks Nikkilala. :T:T

I'm not going to be around for the next couple of days, i'm taking a trip to Birmingham for the weekend.

Anyone from around that area rcommend things to do with children. I am taking my 5 year old nephew to Cadbury's World and wanted something else to do.

Right i'm off to catch up on 38 pages, see you in a couple of hours:rotfl::rotfl:

Does anyone know if you can still get a ticket to let you in the staff factory shop when you visit Cadburys World. Last time we went a good few years ago, it was great loads of stuff really cheap:D
  • Quick question

I've been looking in User CP at making a signature and have expanded back to stretchy screen view (didn't like the squashed/condensed one).
A box appeared on my screen - it said something like forum message and had a yes option and a 'x' in corner - I wasn't sure what to do and pressed the cross and it disappeared.

Does anyone know what it was?
    Thanks
  • found the florida's natural fruit string sweets fruit string sweets tonite in c0nn$w@t€r - just 1 random packet on a clipstrip along with the fruit nuggets that are always there. i remembered another n.i. mse-er mentioning them months ago scanning at 1p in the b@ng0r store so scanned them to check and yep they were 1p :)

this has happened to me in this store a couple of times now - finding just 1 of something randomly - the last time was 1 of each of the sarah smith cloths/wipes as if someone had returned them or just left 1 token item behind, it seems strange! was very happy to find something though, no Christmas sweets or anything else to be seen although i only had time for a quick look.

in case anyone else comes across any of these, the bc ends 4004 :)

Got to have baby pickled onions with them too!

Make it those posh little white cocktail onions I love to get when we're abroad ( sadly too expensive here usually, and gorgeous with a glass of wine). Give him what he wants, but with a bit of a posh twist :). I'm sensing a booze cruise with extras coming on here.

PS approved foods had 2.3kg jars of green olives for really silly money the other day - one's sitting on my kitchen surface as we speak!

PS even better - virtually zero calories in both of them!

Eggs mayonnaise serves on posh curly lettuce leaves with a sprinkle of paprika are always attractive and popular as well, and then there's the lutzi warm salad, published elsewhere on these pages.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    b) run off at any time for a new glitch or 1p find....hmmm might not be possible during a 10hr long heart transplant:mad:

    c) what if you are trouted or worse still banned for glitching from T's, will the image of you running around glitching as a cardiothoracic surgeon does anything for your kudos and status:eek:
