I think I have found a nice little Tesco for mega whoopsies, I can honestly say in all my time whoopsie shopping I have never seen the kind of reductions I did tonight. All products were reduced once and my goodness were they reduced. Example: whole chicken 20p, Oranges 10p, Organic bananas 8p, sausage rolls 2p.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

I love cheese and pineapple - whats wrong with it being stuck in a foil covered spud :D

I'm loving the picture posted earlier though of a posh version. The sticks inserted into a complete pineapple on a platter of savoury sticks.
Fab idea that is now stored away in my noggin for future 'do's. great table decoration:T

SMoked Salmon Tartlets are amazingly, tasty, easy, cheap and convenient.

Make em in a cupcake tray. Cut discs of short crust pastry, pop em in the trays. Flake a bit of salmon trimmings in each one, top with egg/milk mixture with a few dried herbs. Sprinkle a wee bit of grated cheese and scatter the top with a few sesame seeds.

These can be frozen once cooked and then defrosted on day of use.

I cannot stress how easy and tasty these are. A pack of value salmon trimmings can do 24 easily.

these sound really good thanks am going to make a small batch to try at the weekend and if get the thumbs up from daughter will make 100plus for christning as have a lot of reduced pastry plus whoopsied salmon trimmings in freezer and have own hens so a lot of eggs:T

lady leenie i hope you dont mind me borrowing all the ideas for your daughters wedding

Ohh yes, I'm in the cheese and pineapple fan club too - though it has to be cheddar cheese and tinned pineapple. Went to a 'do' once where they had mini mozeralla balls and fresh pineapple on sticks....now what's that all about
