Just noticed our cat is sculpting our straight legged coffee table into Queen Anne shaped legs  :o

I can hire our cat out as a very proficient wallpaper stripper, if anyone should need one!

Do you know what's so great about this thread? Apart from the obvious stitching up of Mr T it's the community spirit.

The fact that somebody (Tweets:)) asked how I got on with my problem last week and loads of lovely people I have never met:) gave me advice which pointed me in the right direction to sort things out!

I am off now to my Thursday quiz night, I've been doing a quick bit of homework on today's news so I can hopefully win a free drink:D... I'll no doubt be back in the early hours quickly!

Thank you lovely people have a fab evening!:A

At least Queen Ann had better legs than Princess Ann , maybe he'll do those on the chairs .

  • What book?
Dr John Sarno, The Mindbody Prescription

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mind-Body-Prescription-John-Sarno/dp/0446675156/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1327612095&sr=8-2

Quite literally life changing for me:

Then: persistent RSI in both hands and arms, in constant pain and signed off sick indefinitely, totally unable to use computer

Now: pain free for 5 years, on the computer about 4 hrs a day typing etc

I got my life back thanks to that book :j

I may be going out on a limb here but I do think that heated debate and exchange of ideas (rational of course) is not bickering. and is part of the everyday life that should be embraced on this thread:)

I totally agree Artha, it's when it gets personal or rude that a line is crossed. 'Twould be boring if we all thought the same.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Hi Tweets thanks that was me! After all the kind suggestions on here I realised that the toilet cistern(built in) was leaking into the toilet so I took off a tile:eek: to see and it was constantly running even after it filled up:(
    told ya:T
ZIPPYDOODA mogchops gave good advice, adding to that common water loss is from sticking ballcocks. 1st look at overflows from tank in roof if you have one. do this by looking for a small pipe coming out from just under guttering, (normaly at rear of house) 2nd if no flush has been made for 5 mins look inside your toilet systern by removing the lid. newer toilets if it is leaking the water will be constantly running into the toilet bowl. older ones it will be running into an overflow. obviously water has to be on to check these. hth
    glad you found the cause
