I must admit, the talk of cheese and pineapple left me with an urge. I have just had ritz crackers with olive cheese and dollops of chutney on the top. It hit the spot so now I can stop thinking of em!!!!!

THat is amazing!!! You could feed a family for a week on a £1 budget like that. Well done you!!:money:
I actually left the chicken, and sausage rolls  I know, but I got my fair share last week and the freezer is fair full. Took some bananas and oranges for the kids. Fair's fair :D someone else might be on their last £20 this week.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

  • I think I have found a nice little Tesco for mega whoopsies, I can honestly say in all my time whoopsie shopping I have never seen the kind of reductions I did tonight. All products were reduced once and my goodness were they reduced. Example: whole chicken 20p, Oranges 10p, Organic bananas 8p, sausage rolls 2p.

Wow :T - I have only had one successful whoopsie shop, when I found the tapa's so got a discount off my other shopping......I live in hope of a whoopsie glut close to me, right time, right place :D

I'm going to face over a week away from 'proper' T :eek::eek:
going away for my exams on Sat back on Monday but bf goes for his training on Sunday and takes the car! He won't be back till next Friday so I think next Saturday I'm gonna have a monster T trip

Will be able to get to a few Expresses and Metros and one 'superstore' though in case there is a glitch :p

OMG that also means the weekend away from HERE!:eek::eek: :(:(:( will never catch up after that... :(

big thanks to Decay for the link with the cheap bike! :T I think I'll go for it :j I was thinking I'll have to splash out 150-200 quid for a new one but I don't need anything fancy and this 40 quid one should do the job! :D *wonders if there is a T gift card buried in the house somewhere  there were 'a few' from DTD days *

now I shall disappear for a bath...
since everything seem to disappear today... :(

    Are those jumbo oats?

They are Jordans Chunky Traditional Porridge Oats, came free just before xmas with the £1 Jordans coupon. Honey was 10p a bottle so only thing that was really paid for at full price was butter and sugar...heres the recipe

    75g butter
5 tablespoons light brown soft sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup ( I replaced this with Honey)
    150g porridge oats

Melt butter, sugar and syrup until melted, stir in the oats and cook for 20-25 mins at 180....

Think i'll add some chocolate Orange next time.....
