JTD horror! Whoooooieee I am smoking...

(but it has a happy ending!)

Got JTD of 1.14, went to Mr. T. with DS1, found family packs of jammie dodgers rtc 67p so he got a couple... and some other whoopsies... went to pay at a manned til (10 items or fewer) and the man said

WE DON'T DO THOSE. went to ask CS and they said NO, WE DON'T DO THOSE.
by this time people in the queue are heckling because of the holdup...!

Call to HO, sending money card, and a letter confirming that they do accept these, and hauling the store over the coals.

well, best whoopsie was a kids chicken pasta dish with a money off voucher on the cardboard sleeve... 37p and then 25p voucher. SO, after the holdup, I insisted on buying 3 in separate transactions so I could use the voucher!

    *breathing*
off to hear a nice jazz concert to calm the nerves

frequent, if I may ask, where abouts are you? Not right now, general area of abode!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
  • Oh why can't my dad realise that English homework is hard for some people to do???
DS hates it because he can't write too well so constantly makes mistakes, tonights homework has to be done correctly and neatly on the page which he is finding hard to do. He's started it many times and keeps making mistakes, he has a draft of it in his book but refuses to even type one out on the laptop without all the mistakes in it so he can copy onto the page.
The main problem with my dad is that every time DS makes a mistake the page is crumpled up and thrown into the bin then he starts crying over it. My dad then starts shouting about him crying then I have to try to calm them both down only for it to start again when DS makes another mistake then my dad yells even louder.
I have explained to my dad and everyone else how he is and that all he needs is to go into the hall for a few mins to sort himself out without anyone commenting on what he's just done and then he'll sit back down to his work again.
This never happens in their house, they all yell at him to stop crying, which means that you get it for much longer including him shouting about how unfair they all are and he wishes they were all dead.
It's so much fun when we do English homework  I'd love to see my dad doing the work DS gets and then hear the teachers comments about his writing :rotfl:

Sorry needed to type this or I would end up killing my dad, it makes me so

Sorry for your problems. Get a new clubcard asap and dont use the old one again. My details were taken once and funnily enough a manager magically appeared at my til! They are not allowed to use your details for any other reason than those in tandc's

I would avoid using your CC at all with any DTD transactions or 1p buys, also if possible use cash (although I always forget as don't carry much on me) you can use the £5 off £40 spend coupons without using your cluncard, I think it's the mailed coupons that you need to use with a CC

fudge2 you are just amazing how you take time to give a mention to sooo many elite'ers:A:A:A:A

ps someone mentioned the expresso coffee machine cleaning tabs that was scanning at 1p, i found a clipstrip full of them and rushed them to SS where they scanned at£1.99:eek::eek::eek::eek:
