    hi 3dogs

    3chins up:D

There was a great line in Dead Enders when Mo was visiting Pat in hospital ,they were always arch enemies and Mo made some excuse to wish Pat well and just as Mo was leaving she looked at Pat on her sick bed , smiled and said .. ..keep your chin up , all 3 of them and walked off smugly .

Maybe my best memory of Dead Enders .

what are all the thanks things about?
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!

Not sure that that's necessarily true (no offence meant Tricia). I think it's HO that make most of the mistakes. The staff can only update the SELs if they get the new ones through on the system. If they don't it's down to scanning items on the shelf and checking - and I'm sure their PI team just don't have the manpower to do that properly.

BTW love your sig fourp, that's one of my favourites, along with "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". The amount of times I've said that to the kids....

If someone has bothered to leave a helpful reply to your post then it's nice to thank them, along with other useful and supportive posts.

Some people thank all the posts so that they can easily see where they have read up to, but if you use the Thread Tools you can subscribe to the thread, then use User CP to take you back to where you left off.

Good morning everyone, another rather cold day. Was going to go for a walk, but think the ground is too hard!

So will stay at home instead today. With the exception of a trip to T's later :)

Several reasons Tricia. Some use it to mark how far they've read. Some thank every poster, some thank those posts that they find interesting/useful/amusing.

Without the posters, there'd be no thread, so thanking people for their posts, makes sense.
